Knotted By The Irish

Oh, my wife likes that.

When my knot starts to swell, I slow down. “Last chance, love. Once I’m locked inside you and I bite, that’s it. That’s forever.”

She grabs my face in both hands.

“Declan Patrick Greene, if you don’t knot me right now…”

I shove deep and it goes full. She wails. Her whole body seizes around me, and I come so goddamn fucking hard the room goes white. I pump into her, locked tight, my fangs drop, and I put my mouth where her neck meets her shoulder, and fucking bite.

The bond slams open.

It’s like a door I never knew was there. And Zahra fucking pours through it. Her pleasure, her shock, the fierce, bright warmth that’s just her, and under it all, a thread of possession that exactly matches mine. She turns her head, finds the same spot on me, and sinks her blunt human teeth in as hard as she can. It won’t scar like mine will. I feel it to my fucking bones, anyway…

“Mo chroí,” I hear myself say against her skin. Over and over. “Mo chroí.”

After, I roll us so she’s sprawled on top of me, still knotted, her cheek on my chest. I’m purring while she’s drawing on my skin with a finger, tracing my scars.

“This one?”

“Bottle, bar fight. I was nineteen.”

“This?”

“Knife.”

“And this one?” The big one on my throat.

“A wolf who thought he should run shit instead of me.”

She blinks slowly before asking, “Where’s he now?”

“He’s not.”

She nods like I just told her he moved to a different State, and moves on to the next one. No disgust, no judgement, no terrified flinch, no sad eyes like I’m some fucking tragedy she’s gonna fix.

“What does Mo chroí mean?” she asks after a while. “You kept saying it.”

I grin, running a hand over her perfect ass. “Did I?”

She cocks an eyebrow. “Declan.”

I chuckle. “Ask me again once I’m out.”

She lifts her head to narrow her eyes at me. I tuck a curl behind her ear, and press a quick kiss on her lips.

“Did you ever eat the banana bread?”

She frowns. “What?”

“The banana bread. Three in the morning. Two loaves sitting on your counter.”

She laughs. “You were staring at my mouth the whole time! I didn’t think you heard a word!”

“I hear everything you say, sweetheart. But I was also staring at your mouth.” I wink. “I’m a man of many talents.”

She looks at me for a long moment. Then she puts her head back down, right over my heart.
