I turn back to the stove and move the chicken around the pan before I ruin it.

Goldie stays beside me instead of going back to her laptop. She leans against the counter and her eyes run all over my body as she licks her lips.

“Keep looking at me like that and neither one of us will be eating anytime soon.”

Her eyes make their way back up to mine as she laughs. “I’m literally just standing here.”

“Uh-huh.”

She reaches into the bowl beside me, steals another piece of pepper, and pops it into her mouth without breaking eye contact.

Then she smiles.

I set the tongs down.

Goldie’s eyebrows lift when I reach over and turn off the burner.

“What?”

“You’re acting like I didn’t just warn you what would happen.”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Right.” I move the skillet off the heat. “So you haven’t been looking at me like you want me to bend you over this counter?”

Her laugh bursts out before she can stop it. “Maybe I’m just appreciating my boyfriend.”

Fuck, I love hearing her say that word.

I wipe my hands on the dish towel and toss it onto the counter as my dick starts to harden.

“Or maybe you like to make me work for it.”

Goldie’s eyes gleam as she watches me close the distance between us.

She tips her face up to mine with a grin straight from the Devil himself. “I do like watching you work. It’s my kink.”

That smug little grin lasts right up until I catch her under the ass and lift her onto the counter.

Her legs wrap around my waist as I step between them and bury my hand in her hair, dragging her mouth to mine.
