Blair: Where you’re taking me.
Nash: 7:30. Wear something comfortable.
I frowned.
Blair: That’s how kidnappings start.
Nash: I’ll send my driver’s license and our current location for you to update Klair.
I laughed and heard a knock against the door.
“Come in.”
The nurse practitioner entered with a laptop in her hand.
“Ms. James?”
“Unfortunately.”
She laughed. “I’m Talynn.”
“Blair.”
“I know.”
“Right. You have my chart.”
She sat on the little rolling stool. “How are we doing today?”
“Cold.”
“They keep these rooms freezing. I can get you another sheet.”
“I’m fine.”
She started clicking through my chart. “So we’re doing your annual exam today?”
“Yep.”
“And you wanted to discuss contraception?”
“Yep.”
She nodded and clicked into another section of my chart. “Okay. Are you currently sexually active?”
“No.”
“Any new partners since your last screening?”
“No.”
“Any concerns about STI exposure?”
