“Still want me?”
I stare at him.
“Enzo, if you make me give you a written invitation, I’m going to need access to a printer.”
His smile disappears. Not because he’s unhappy. Because something darker replaces it. Possessive. Intense. The look sends another pulse of heat through me.
“Say it.”
My heartbeat kicks harder.
“What?”
“Tell me you want me.”
This shouldn’t affect me as much as it does. But his voice is lower now. Rougher. Nothing like the charming businessman who ordered wine and laughed about my cats.
“I want you.”
His thumb traces my lower lip.

I blink. Well. We’re apparently done pretending this is going to be polite.
“I want you to fuck me.”
The sound he makes is quiet. Dangerous.
“Again.”
I smile despite the heat burning through me.
“Bossy.”
“Bridget.”
I slide my hand around the back of his neck.
“I want you to fuck me, Enzo.”
“Good girl.”
Oh, fuck. My thighs press together before I can stop them. His eyes catch the movement. So much for subtlety.
“That do something for you?”
“No.”
“Liar.”
“You’re getting annoyingly confident.”
“I have evidence.”
Before I can come up with an answer, he leans across me and opens the nightstand. A condom appears in his hand. I raise an eyebrow.
“Prepared?”
