“I’m forty-three.”
“Early onset, then.”
He laughs, slipping the keys back into his pocket, and when he looks at me again, the amusement softens into a look that steals every clever reply I’d been about to make.
We slide into the seats, and before I can even buckle myself in, he closes the gap.
One hand settles at my waist as mine bunch in the front of his jacket. The kiss finds us with all the restraint we’d managed to fake upstairs finally giving out, and I sink into him, smiling when he lets out a breath that sounds suspiciously close to relief.
His hand is already on my hip, his thumb stroking the curve of my hip through the navy fabric.
The car wraps around us in black leather, all polished luxury and locked doors, and I don’t waste another heartbeat before I unzip his fly.
He’s already hard, thick, the heat of him pressing through expensive suit wool into my palm, and he watches every move with blue eyes fixed on me, giving me his full attention as though the rest of the world has stopped existing.
I slide into the space between our seats, shove the center console out of the way, and wedge myself between the steering wheel and the gearstick until his belt presses against my forearm.
My lips close around him, my tongue tracing the curve, and now I get to learn every inch of it.
He lets out the same sound he’d bury beneath a cough if we were in the office, except there isn’t anyone here to fool, so he gives it to me without holding back.
It shivers through him and into my mouth, sending a thrill straight through me because I know exactly what I’ve pulled from him.
His belt buckle gives before he has the chance to decide whether this is a good idea.
He looks bigger this close, and I take my time learning him, chasing every shift in his breathing until I know which touch earns the next helpless sound from his chest.
His fingers tighten around my waist, ease, then tighten again as he wrestles with the urge to thread them into my hair and take control, but I keep setting the pace because I want every inch on my own terms.
The interior still carries the scent of rain-soaked streets and new leather as my knees wedge against the dashboard, pressing hard enough to bruise, though I couldn’t care less.
My name falls from his lips like a curse tangled with a prayer, entirely different this close, and his hand lifts with a faint tremor to brush my hair away from my face because he wants to watch me.
I look up with my mouth full of him, holding his gaze as my tongue traces around the head, saliva slicking the seam I’ve wanted to taste for months until my lipstick stains the shaft.
He says my name again, the sound breaking apart beneath a gasp, and his hands grip the leather seats so tightly I almost laugh at the sight of him.
At the dazed smile he can’t quite hide.
At the thought of anyone walking through the garage and finding the CEO with his tie thrown over his shoulder and his cock in my mouth.
I glance up again and find his head tipped back, his jaw flexing beneath the blue-green light spilling from the instrument panel, leaving him looking almost unreal, like the after-image of a comet.
I hollow my cheeks and draw him deeper until he reaches the back of my throat, and the groan that tears out of him shudders through the frame of the car.
I taste the salt of him, the metallic edge of anticipation, and chase it with greedy determination, my hands working at the base, my ring and middle fingers twisting in a motion that’s far too practiced to pass for accidental.
I know the exact instant his composure gives way because he says my name like a warning, his voice raw, pleading, and utterly fucked.
“Emma…”
The rest of his warning dissolves into an inhale, and I stop with my mouth still wrapped around him, my tongue pressed flat as I lift my eyes and make him meet my gaze.
His eyes have darkened to midnight, his pupils blown wide until every trace of the polished, controlled man I’ve known gives way to the one sitting in front of me, stripped bare in every way that matters.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this honest.
A smile tugs at my lips because there’s only one thing left to do.
