Come Back To Me

“What kind of gentleman are you?”

“No one said I was a gentleman.” He smirked, and suddenly the small enclosed space we were in got a whole lot smaller. He already dwarfed it with his broad shoulders and wide chest.

“Clearly,” I scoffed. We had a silent stand — off and eventually it was me who gave in. I didn’t want to kick up a fuss. I turned to exit the minuscule box but a hand gripped my arm and pulled me back.

“What are you doing?” I squeaked, feeling my butt hit the plastic bench.

“We’re getting photos taken.”

I looked at him incredulously. “Together?”

He shrugged, his smirk so playful that I was sure it made women drop their panties in a heartbeat. “Why not?”

“Because I don’t know you, that’s why.”

“That’s too bad.” He lifted me up by my waist and deposited me on his lap. The bench wasn’t big enough for both of us.

“Smile.”

I frowned at him and then realized he’d pressed the button to take our photo.

“You’re going to have to smile for me,” he chided. “Ready?”

I smiled at the camera just as the flash went off, and groaned when our photos started popping up on the screen. I looked far less composed than ‘hot stranger’ did. I had yet to catch his name so he’d have to be ‘hot stranger’ until further notice. The moniker suited him though, because this guy was hella easy on the eyeballs. Like really easy. We had three photos left and it was safe to say the first two were duds.

“You’re going to have to give me more to work with here, Shortcake. I can’t do all the work.”

“Shortcake? Are you telling me I’m short?” I was about to ream him it out for that but he cut me off by kissing me. Actually fucking kissed me, the bastard. The flash went off and I pulled away. “How dare you! Do you always go around kissing random girls?” I bet he did. He looked like the type. And I bet I was the first to complain.

“Actually no, but I’m about to do it again.”

He wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled my head closer until our mouths met. His tongue snuck out and trailed across my bottom lip and my gasp gave him an opening to kiss me deeper. I played my hands on his shoulders, intent on pushing him away, but instead, I leaned further in to him, kissing him back. It was a deliciously slow, open-mouthed kiss, unlike any other kiss I’d ever experienced. I wasn’t sure if our last photo was taken but not even the sound of the strip being printed made us stop. It wasn’t like me to make out with strangers, no matter how gorgeous, and yet I didn’t stop. Quite the opposite actually. I straddled his legs, sinking into his lap, and felt a surge of something zip through my body. I’d had boyfriends, but had never been so physically drawn to them as I was to this stranger. This rude, cocky, beautiful stranger who had the strangest effect on me. His hands cupped my butt, an easy feat considering I was in a knee length summer dress. He fingered the edge of my panties, tracing my skin with deft fingers, and when I moaned — because I moaned like a woman on the verge of bursting into flames — he swallowed it, a resounding growl coming from his throat. It made me shiver, the way his powerful body held me so delicately but still demanded my attention.

He parted his lips and kissed his way down my throat, sucking on the spot behind my ear. Jesus, that was sexy. And oh God, was I rubbing myself on his crotch? I should have stopped, because he probably thought I was going to let him fuck me right here, and there was no way in hell that was going to happen.

Great, now you’re thinking about fucking him.

I bet he was exceptional at it too. With his big body yielding all that power there was no way he couldn’t be anything less.

“I am exceptional,” he murmured against my skin. His breath made it tingle.

“Huh?” I was breathless.

“You said I must be exceptional at fucking,” he nipped my earlobe with his teeth. “I am.”

“I didn’t…” Could he just shut up already? It was killing my vibes.

He chuckled, and I froze. “What?” My heart was racing, and I was lucky to have been able to form anything coherent.

“You’re talking out aloud.” His eyes crinkled as he smiled.

“I am?” I looked around, and reality dawned. I was making out with a complete stranger in a public place and rubbing myself all over him like a horny hooker on Thanksgiving. The sensible thing would have been to climb off his lap, but common sense had packed her shit up and left town.

“It’s okay. I like it.”

Well, I didn’t. I went from hot and bothered to absolutely mortified in a matter of seconds.

“I should go.” I brushed my hands through my hair. “God, what was I thinking?”
