His legs tighten around me, and he holds me there, my hips shifting back and forth as I shudder through my release.
And then I fall onto him, my chest heaving, my entire body shaking. I’m still inside of him. He won’t let me go. Not that I want him to. I want to live inside of him in every way.
I let my lips drag along his throat, anywhere they can reach. My free hand runs up his ear and tugs on it. He shudders again, his cock sputtering, the slippery liquid wetting my stomach as he comes once more.
I relish it, the feel of his extended cocks against my stomach, the way they vibrate against my softening cock.
I don’t want this to end, but it always has to.
He turns his head, and I see him reach for his tablet. It’s on the small table near his bed. His eyes flash across the screen, reading whatever message was just sent, and I feel him sigh.
I pretend I don’t notice, just continue lying on him, feeling his cocks retract, my own finally slipping from his slit.
He taps me on the back, but I ignore that too. I don’t want him to leave. He always fucking leaves.
I feel him sigh once more and then we’re rolling, his large body over mine.
‘I must go.’
I lift a hand and touch his cheek before signing, ‘You could stay.’
‘I cannot. Even if I wish to. It is Jyrion. He has summoned me.’
I slide my hand up my abdomen, and his eyes follow it, his ears fluttering. But it’s not enough; I’m not enough to tempt him to stay. Instead, he wipes himself off and dresses quickly, hiding those scars from me. I hate that they’re there, but I love him as he is.
‘I will return later. And I will have you like that again.’
‘Are you asking me nicely or telling me as your companion?’ I sling back.
He flinches, and then he moves toward me, leaning over the bed, his hand stroking my cheek gently. ‘No, because I enjoyed it. Because I want you always. You are more than my companion, my Luca.’
I love the way he signs my name. Love it even more when it comes with a soft kiss. But then I’m alone again, Eissa disappearing through the portal and leaving me naked in his bed, feeling lost and isolated.
Will it always be like this with us? I ask, feeling the soft moss beneath me curl around my limbs.
He doesn’t answer, so I sigh, closing my eyes, and I let my mind conjure up more silent questions.
Will we always be at the beck and call of the tyrannical government? I don’t know, but I want it to be different.
I want us to be free.
The fact that Eissa left me to tend to Jyrion frustrates me beyond measure. Part of me understands why he has to go. But I don’t really understand what’s going on with Eissa and his relationship to the council.
I don’t think it’s blind obedience.
I don’t think it’s any kind of obedience. But he’s still not sharing any of that with me. He’s still hiding deep, dark secrets, and if I’m going to learn anything, I’m going to have to keep playing spy.
It means being nice to Jyrion the next time I see him. And now that I know what he did to Eissa, dealing with Jyrion will likely be the best performance of my life. I’ll be lucky if I can get away with it. Even Eissa can’t know about it.
Flopping on my back, I stare up at the ceiling as I feel the vibrations of Gerald all around me. He’s apparently unhappy with the sofa, so he’s pushing it to the other side of the room, and I let him. I’ll have to take him out for exercise in a bit, but for now, I don’t mind lying here.
My body’s deliciously sore from being with Eissa that morning, and my heart is aching from being alone.
I hate all of this. I don’t regret meeting him—not really. I don’t regret anything that led me to this moment, but god, I want to go home. And if I can’t go home, then I want to see some of my family.
With a breath, I sit up and prod the mental connection to Eissa until I feel it give.
My Luca.
