“Liar,” the voice accused.

Ghost smiled. “Okay. You got me.”

“Put Razor on,” the voice ordered.

“No,” Ghost said.

Razor looked irritated, and Ghost enjoyed that a bit too much. “Put him on,” the voice shouted.

“Give me a reason to do what you want me to do,” Ghost insisted.

“Because I know where the ledger is,” the voice said. Angel went still, and Ghost stared at the phone.

Razor surged to his feet. “Give me that.”

Ghost put the barrel of his gun against Razor's chest. “Sit the fuck down.” Razor sat, and Ghost returned the phone to his ear. “Keep talking.”

“You don't want the ledger,” the voice insisted.

“Actually, I'm getting pretty fucking interested in it,” Ghost said.

“It'll destroy people,” the voice warned.

“Not seeing a downside yet,” Ghost drawled.

“You should,” the voice insisted.

“Why?” Ghost asked.

“Because some of those people are still alive,” the voice said. Monster moved closer to him, and Ghost put the call on speaker.

“Who are you?” Monster asked.

The distorted voice laughed. “You're asking the wrong question.”

Angel's face changed, and Ghost saw it. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

She shook her head, and the caller continued. “You should be asking why Razor suddenly started searching for Angelina again after seven years.”

Ghost looked at Razor. “Okay. Why?” Razor's face went pale, which he found interesting.

“Because someone contacted him,” the voice answered for him.

“Who?” Ghost asked.

“Me,” the voice said.

Razor shouted at the phone. “You son of a bitch!”

Monster shoved him back onto the ground. Ghost stared at Razor. “You know him?”

Razor said nothing, and the caller laughed again. “Oh, he knows me.”

“Who the fuck are you?” Ghost asked.

“You'll know soon enough,” the voice promised. The call ended, and Ghost immediately tried calling back, but the call was blocked.

“Mouse,” Monster said into the comms.
