“Why would I do that?” he asked.
“Because you're disposable.” That wiped the amusement from Razor's face, and Angel continued. “Your father was disposable. My father was disposable. Shadow was disposable. My mother was disposable.” She paused. “And you're disposable.” Razor stared at her. “Cole shot into this clubhouse because we're getting close. You think he's going to leave you alive after this?”
“He needs me,” Razor insisted.
“For what?” she asked. Razor didn't answer, and Angel smiled. “Exactly.” Ghost was impressed, and Jackhammer looked downright proud.
Razor shifted. “Even if I knew where he was, you wouldn't get near him.”
“Try us,” Monster said.
Razor looked at him. “He has people everywhere.”
“So do I,” Monster insisted.
“Not like him,” Razor said.
Monster smiled. “You'd be surprised.”
Angel leaned closer. “Where is he?”
Razor stayed silent, and Ghost began counting. “One.”
Razor looked at him. “What are you counting for?”
“Nothing. Continue,” Ghost said.
Angel almost smiled. “Where is Cole?”
“Go to hell,” Razor said.
“Two,” Ghost said.
Razor's eyes narrowed. “What happens at five?”
Ghost smiled. “You don't want to know.”
Jackhammer shook his head. “There isn't anything at five.”
Ghost looked at him. “Don't ruin it.”
Angel sighed. “Children.”
Razor laughed, and then Angel said something that stopped him. “Cole is going to kill you.”
“No, he wouldn’t do that,” Razor said. “He can't.”
“Why not?” she asked.
“Because—” Razor stopped, and Angel leaned forward.
“Because what?” she asked. “Because you have something on him?”
Razor's face gave him away, and Ghost smiled. “Got you,” Angel said.
Razor cursed, and Angel stood. “What do you have on him?” He didn’t answer. “You already have the ledger,” she said.
“We have Elena's ledger,” he said.
