“Because you look incredible in my T-shirt and I want to have sex with my wife.”

A blush crept up my cheeks and I refused to make eye contact. “I’m technically your fiancée right now.”

He pressed his lips against mine. “You and your technicalities.”

His sparkling blue eyes met mine.

“I think it’s pretty damn cool,” I admitted.

“What is?”

“Being able to call you my fiancé. Calling you my boyfriend made me feel like I was in middle school again.” I said with a smile.

A small laugh rumbled in his chest. “What we’re about to do you weren’t doing in middle school…I hope.”

“Ha! I didn’t even have a boyfriend. I was a straight-A student who was involved in a bunch of extracurricular activities. I didn’t have the time.”

A smile tugged on his lips and he peppered my neck with kisses. “Wanna celebrate?”

My eyes met his. “How did you want to celebrate? Did you want some ice cream?” I teased, knowing precisely what he was suggesting.

“I was more in the mood for pie.”

“Oh. I’m sorry, sir, but we don’t have any pie in the house.” I was going to go along with this.

“We sure do.”

Charlie propped himself on his left elbow while his right hand slowly traced down my body to my leg.

“Your leg is so smooth.” He complimented. His eyes fixed on the hem of my shirt. He knew there was nothing underneath except for a lacy thong.

“I got everything waxed before we left on our little getaway.”

“Real talk?” Charlie asked.

I nodded, knowing he was going to take us out of the mood for a minute while he said something not related to sex.

“Getting waxed sounds awful.”

“Oh, it’s terrible.” I let out a giggle. “It was worth it, though, because everything is so smooth.” I rubbed my legs together like a cricket. They’re soft when you shave, but this was next level.

“You didn’t have to do that, though.”

I pressed a peck to his lips. “I know. It wasn’t just for you. It was a treat for me.”

“Immense pain is a treat for you?” A smirk played on the corner of his lips.

“Not getting it done, but the after-effects. It feels great and is one step less in the shower.”

Charlie’s eyes grew dark. “Means we have more time in the morning for other things.”

I arched a brow. “You mean for sleeping in?”

He arched one back. “Kinda.” His lips found the soft spot by my collarbone. “I was more thinkin’ we could do something else.”

“Hm?”

Charlie’s lips continued to work the spot he knows drives me feral. “I was thinkin’ maybe we could start with this?” His lips met mine and our mouths fought for dominance.
