It felt so good to be in his arms, but she was also hyper-aware of the clock ticking down on her perfect day and the fact she’d yet to experience anything Utopia had to offer. Ace kept saying next time, as if it were a foregone conclusion, but she couldn’t trust that just yet. She wanted to believe Ace was different than other guys, but it wouldn’t be the first time a man, hell, even a biker, had wooed and bedded her only to leave her like a discarded plaything the next day, week or month.

She wriggled out of his arms and jumped to her feet, finding her discarded clothes and putting them on.

Ace stared at her, his expression bereft. “What are you doing? Come back to bed.”

She shook her head. “That was amazing. Truly. But I’m starving and I came here to see Utopia, not the inside of your bedroom.”

She saw his face shutter, his jaw line hardening like a flip had been switched and flinched preparing for anger.

“Watch how you talk to your Daddy, little girl.”

She blinked in surprise. Oh. Oh. A flip had been switched all right, just not the one she was expecting. “Sorry,” she muttered.

“Don’t be sorry.” Ace sat up in bed and stretched slowly. “You’re right, and I’m sorry. What would you like to do?”

She still didn’t know the answer any more than she had that morning. She just knew she wanted to do something.

She shrugged and Ace nodded, peeling back the covers and twisting his body until he was sitting on the edge of the bed facing her. “Trust me, still?”

She nodded. It was the easiest decision she’d made in her life.

“Okay, I’ll get dressed, we will find food, and then we will do something I think you will enjoy.” He looked at her in a way that made her feel naked again, even with all her clothes on. “Can you rebraid your hair?”

She sighed softly. “Maybe just regular braids. French braids are a lot of work.”

“Sorry ‘bout that.” He had the grace to look sheepish.

“It’s fine.” She bent down to pick up his discarded jeans and shirt and held them out in offering. When he took them, she sauntered toward the bathroom, and redid her hair, turning this way and that as she inspected herself in the mirror. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes hooded. She looked like a woman who had been well and properly fucked, even if her outfit was giving first-grade vibes. It was an interesting dichotomy. She didn’t hate it.

“You look adorable. Sexy and adorable.” Ace appeared fully dressed in the doorway of the bathroom and held his hand out to her. “Ready to go?” Before she could take his hand, he narrowed his eyes and looked at her pointedly. “Did you need to go potty?”

And all of a sudden with the memory of earlier burned into her brain, she felt Little again as she looked down at the pink tiled floor and shrugged. “Maybe a little.”

The man had the audacity to smirk but he said, “Okay, come on, I’ll help you,” and then he did and it wasn’t half as terrifying as the first time had been. In fact it was kind of nice. He gave her privacy (well, sort of) to pee, then helped her wipe and wash her hands before grabbing his vest from the railing of the crib and checking to make sure he had his wallet.

Lizzie felt her stomach knot. “Can we… can we go somewhere different for dinner? Not King’s?”

“Somewhere Little?” he asked as he guided her out of the room with a hand on the small of her back. “Yeah, sure. We can do that.”

He took her into the courtyard where the cool November air chapped her cheeks and made goosebumps appear on her arms but where there was a pop-up Hello Kitty cafe. He got her a mango lemonade and a grilled cheese shaped like Hello Kitty’s face and a giant cookie for dessert while he grabbed three hot dogs from a nearby cart.

After she ate, he wiped her hands and face with a wet nap that magically appeared from the pocket of his jeans and smiled indulgently.

“Are you ready for the next thing on the agenda?”

Feeling a million times better after amazing sex, a great nap and a full belly, she bounced on the tips of her toes and found she was more excited than nervous. “What is it? What are we gonna do?”

Ace shook his head. “It’s a surprise but it’s a good one. I think you’ll like it.”

The fact that he wouldn’t tell her gave her a case of the nerves but she told herself that she trusted him and tucked her hand in his. “Well then, lead the way, Daddy-O”

They walked back into the resort and down the long hall, passing tons of Daddies and Littles and all sorts of fun activities and things to explore, through the casino and to an elevator bank on the back wall.

Her brows furrowed and she looked up at him with suspicion but this elevator wouldn’t take them to his room so she had no choice but to trust. When they stepped onto the elevator and he hit the button for the penthouse, entering in a special code when he did so, her eyes got wide and her tummy filled with butterflies. Everyone knew who lived in the penthouse of Utopia. Well, everyone who cared anyway. If you were in any sort of kink scene or forum, the Las Vegas Littles as they’d been dubbed, were the stuff of legends. Everyone knew the fairytale rags-to- riches story of how Baze Patrick, a mega-billionaire had bought up the abandoned hotel they were squatting in and begged them to stay there under his care while he turned the Las Vegas relic into a premiere lifestyle resort. Everyone knew how they’d all gotten Daddies of their own over the year it took for the renovations to be completed. In Lizzie’s eyes, they were practically celebrities. She may as well be meeting Beyonce or Taylor Swift.

“Daddy,” she squirmed, doing the potty dance even though she did not need to pee. “I thought we were gonna do something fun.”

“We are. You, little girl, are about to have your very first Little playdate.”
