“Well, a date, essentially. Just a set-aside time for the three of us to get to know each other while doing something fun outside of the resort.”

“Okay!” She liked that idea. “What would we do? Where would we go?”

“Where would you like to go? There are a lot of things to do in Vegas. We could do whatever you’d like.”

Tessa thought about it. She’d gotten to do a lot of fun things recently. She’d been to Circus Circus and rode rides, she’d played in the new indoor playground, done mini golf with her friends and seen all the sharks and fishies at the aquarium. “Could we go to the boats?”

“The boats?” Dax cocked his head to one side, like he wasn’t quite sure what she was talking about.

“You know, the long skinny ones? With the guys who wear striped shirts and sing to you?”

“Oh! The gondolas!” He nodded. “Yes, we could do that. Is there anything else you’d like to do?”

She thought about it. There were, as he’d said, a ton of things to do in Vegas, but she really just wanted some alone time with her potential Daddies.

“Could I… could I come to your room? I could bring a game to play or we could color…” She trailed off fighting the urge to cross her fingers. She was worried that they might find her suggestion stupid, or not be the kind of Daddies who liked to play games or color. That was important to her. She needed a Daddy or Daddies who didn’t mind playing with her.

“I’m not too good at coloring,” Beau said.

Her heart dropped to her toes before he continued.

“But Dax is. And I play a mean game of Candyland.”

“Yay!” Tessa couldn’t help but cheer at his response. “When?”

“Well, I’m betting you have naptime after this, and Dax and I do have some work to do today. But we have Friday, the day after tomorrow, off. So how about Friday after breakfast?”

“Okay. Okay.” She repeated herself, her nerves racing and her body tingling with anticipation. “Is there anything… anything you want me to do, or bring, or… wear?”

She couldn’t help herself. She was dying for some sort of direction, something that would make this more real. She wanted to test their Daddyness.

“I can’t think of anything,” Dax answered. “But if we do, we’ll let you know.”

Her face fell. She couldn’t help her disappointment.

“I have a request.” Beau smiled encouragingly, and she could see in his kind smile that he knew how she was feeling and he understood.

“Yes, Sir?” she stuttered out the foreign title. Her heart already ached to call them Daddy, but she knew it was too soon.

“Text us after naptime. Eat with us at dinner. Text us before you go to bed.”

“What if I forget?” Tessa asked, her breath hitching. She knew she wouldn’t, but she just wanted for this conversation to feel more real.

Beau raised his eyebrows. “If you forget to obey, Daddy Dax and I will have to punish you.”

It was on the tip of her tongue to ask how. She wanted to hear the details. She wanted them to talk about sticking her nose in the corner or spanking her naughty bottom, but she also didn’t want to push it. She’d gotten what she was looking for.

Tessa sat quiet for a few minutes, finishing her sandwich, giving Beau and Dax a minute to do the same.

“If… if I was your Little girl…” She trailed off not quite knowing how to ask the question she wanted an answer to. “I’m sorry. This is new to me. I don’t know how to go about starting to have one Daddy, much less two.”

Beau grinned. “That’s all right, sweetheart. New things can be scary. Just know that you can ask us anything.”

Tessa nodded, but she didn’t say anything else. There were lots of things she wanted to ask, but she just felt like it was too soon and she didn’t want to come off as desperate.

“This can go as slow or as fast as we all want as long as we are all comfortable,” Dax said, seemingly reading her mind. “For now, we will just eat together and have playdates, and we will give you instructions to obey, and you’ll let us know if you get in trouble with Baze.”

“Okay. But… what do I call you?”
