Every dark corner.

“Raven??” I hear being called from my phone that I have now hanging from my side.

Shit.

Putting it back to my ear, I answer her.

“Sorry, I was just watching the lights.”

“Where are you?”

I look over to see what I’m near.

The Gravitron. It’s always this thing.

But now, it was shut off and the door to the ride was wide open. The eerie feeling of it the empty black hole had me stopping in my tracks and staring into it.

I felt like someone or something was going to come through it.

“The Gravitron.”

“Okay, I’m going to try to come to you. I’m near the mirror maze.”

It was just right ahead.

“I can come to you.” I say and head in that direction.

“Okay, I will see you-” she starts but a scream sounded out right when she was finishing her words.

“Willow?”

The line disconnects.

I check my phone to make sure my battery didn’t die.

78% left.

My eyebrows wrinkle, and I glance back up.

My throat almost jumps out of my mouth as right in front of me was a clown.

The area seemed to thin out and I believed most of them were in the attractions and the haunted houses.

Looking at the clown, I realize it was the lady from earlier that disappeared like a flash.

But, gone was the smiling face.

She wasn’t smiling anymore.

Her dress was now torn and seemed to have blood all over it.

Her smiling painted lips were now smudged and tilted down in a sad face.

Blood dribbled down her chin to her neck

She just stood there, literally a few feet away from me.

I look around to see other masked creatures were near the now open attractions.
