“No girl, go ahead. I can hang out here. I’m probably going to hit the restroom real quick anyways.”

“Are you sure?”

“Willow, go and have fun.” I say with a laugh.

“Okay. Be right back.” she blows out a kiss before disappearing into the attraction.

I step further out of the line, and start my journey to find the bathroom.

I remember the one being near the exit, but I’m sure there has to be another one in this big ass area.

My eyes trail along as people pass me in my attempt at finding one.

“Um, excuse me. Is there a restroom nearby?” I walk up to a lady with clown makeup on. Her painted red mouth was painted upwards to make it look like she was smiling. She seemed harmless.

“Hello, there pretty.” she says, her voice a higher pitched tone. “Turn around and look for the Ferris wheel painted black. There is a restroom to the left.”

I turn around and look around until I see what she is talking about.

“Okay thank you.” I turn around to tell her and she was gone.

My eyes dart around me, but no sign of her. She must of walked fast as hell.

I shake my head and head in that direction.

My eyes look up to see the clock and I see that its around 7:40.

My feet move faster.

I get closer to the Ferris wheel and notice that there was no one on it or around it. It looked to be turned off.

Deciding to just ignore the odd feeling, I look to the left and see the restroom the lady was talking about.

No one in line. Score.

My tennis shoes hit the grass as I walk to it and slide in the first one I seen.

It was pretty clean for it being a fair bathroom, and I pick the first stall.

I could still hear the music from outside and smile to myself as I hovered to use the toilet. I did my business and stepped out to wash my hands.

“TEN MINUTES” the loud intercom came through the bathroom, and I jumped in surprise.

Oh shit, I had to go get a stamp I thought as I rushed outside.

The sun was lower, the sky a burnt and crisp orange color

Remembering what the cashier said earlier, I look for the closest worker. I walk faster until I settle on talking to the tilt a wheel worker.

“Hi, can I get a stamp for the carnival please?”

The shorter man turns around and looks at me.

“Ticket?”

I move my phone case aside to grab the ticket I stuck in there.

“Hand please.”
