My lips curve in a grin right before I hear Willow and Charlie calling my name.

“Raven?”

I didn’t answer.

I couldn’t stop looking at him.

One year.

One fucking year.

One motherfucking year since I’d felt those hands.

One fucking motherfucking year since he branded my mind with his soft lips.

My eyes dropped to the hand around my waist.

I smiled.

“I read it this time.”

He went still.

“I know exactly what I signed up for this year.”

His head tilted.

My stomach flipped.

Fuck, I missed that.

“Raven?”

My masked man didn’t even look towards it.

Neither did I.

My short frame did nothing but make me arch my neck up sharper to be able to see all of him right before me.

My skin felt tight and my breaths became harsher as I thought of what I wanted to do.

“It took you long enough.”

His hand stayed at my waist.

I looked up at the mask.

It was actually quite beautiful, in a weird and scary sort of way. I also think it helped that I knew that their was two choices that could be wearing this thing.

Both of them were beautiful as well.

I stepped closer.

“You remember what I told you last year?”
