I looked at him. “You found something?”

His mouth twitched faintly. Not a smile. Ghost’s version of one. “Tide Lofts. New apartment complex on the east side of Bay of Saints. Security cameras are already built in. Gated access. Enough units to place people without making it obvious we’re stacking protection.”

Archangel leaned forward slightly. “Club-owned?”

“Shell-owned,” Ghost replied. “Clean enough to pass a casual look. We house Lila and Evan there, maybe a few others. It gives them protection without making it feel like we locked them in a bunker.”

Nomad nodded slowly. “Good location too. Close enough to the compound if something goes bad, far enough not to feel like club property.”

Rook’s eyes narrowed at the folder. “Smart.”

Ghost looked mildly offended by the surprise in his voice.

I nodded. “Do it. Run the numbers. Start the shell work. Pull Graves in on legal once he’s back.”

Ledger stared at the tabletop for a second before speaking again. “Cage and I’ll need a unit there too.”

No one answered right away. Not because we hadn’t thought of it, but because saying it out loud made it real.

“Whatever you need,” I said finally. “You say it.”

He nodded once, eyes still on the wood grain.

I let the silence sit for a moment before shifting us forward. “Fundraising. If the ER is gonna happen, we need money coming in fast and clean enough to look respectable on paper.”

Castor barked a laugh. “You saying your usual methods aren’t respectable?”

“Not to a zoning board.”

A couple low chuckles moved around the table.

Archangel leaned back in his chair. “Fallen Angels can help with legitimate pulls. Public fundraisers. Charity rides. Benefit nights. We know how to make ugly money look civilized.”

Rook grunted. “That a résumé skill?”

“It gets buildings built,” Archangel replied.

“He’s not wrong,” Ghost said. “We do memorial rides and open them to the community. Frame it around medical access for Fallen Harbor and the west side of Bay. After what happened at the warehouse, people will show up.”

“Town knows something happened,” Ink added. “Doesn’t know all the details, but it knows women and kids were pulled out of there.”

I nodded. “Then that’s the angle. Emergency access. Community need. Fallen Harbor finally getting something besides neglect.”

Castor tipped his head, amused again. “You really are building a damn ER because your woman got kidnapped.”

“Watch me.”

That got a short laugh out of Ledger, though it disappeared almost as soon as it showed.

Archangel tapped two fingers on the table. “Public work may help with Joker too.”

I looked at him.

“He’ll expect retaliation. Panic. Chaos.” Archangel’s voice stayed even. “If Saints start putting down roots instead, if the club gets louder in daylight and cleaner in the public eye, that changes the pressure. Men like Joker don’t like losing the story.”

Nomad’s mouth curved. “We’re baiting him with civic development?”

“We’re making him irrelevant,” Archangel said. “That usually makes men like him sloppy.”
