He laughed and had his hand on his zipper, but there was a sharp rap at the door that had him growling in irritation. He narrowed his eyes that direction.
“Is this going to happen a lot, Jefe?” I asked.
He must have heard the sarcasm in my voice because he held a finger out at me in warning before he went to the door. I clenched my ass muscles and they were a little sore, so yeah, I shouldn’t want that again, but honestly, I did. I squirmed over onto my belly, but then remembered he was about to open the door and stilled. But I should have known he wouldn’t let anyone see me. He slipped outside and closed the door firmly behind himself. I lay there recovering for a second, but my heart didn’t seem like it wanted to slow down.
“The bear is loose,” he said as he slipped back in the room. “We have to hurry.”
I rested my cheek on the bed and watched him come closer, fighting through the sludge in my brain to think. He rested a hand on my ass, which surprised me, and rubbed his thumb there as he loosened the shirt on my wrists somehow. Suddenly, I was free. Rolling to the side, I brought my hands around front and rubbed at my wrists.
“I’m sorry, did you say bear?”
He laughed, the sweet, carefree sound I remembered, then bent and gently tugged up my pants, rearranging and then dressing me with almost no help from my side of things. He grinned and shook his head.
“Yes, a bear.”
“Are… am I stoned or something?”
“You’ve never been stoned.” He squinted his eyes at me, and I didn’t bother correcting him. I actually had been high more than once. That was one thing I’d done with my guards occasionally, smoke here and there. Mostly I thought they must’ve felt bad for me, so they offered when they were bored and sure Papá was gone. He tickled his fingers over my belly, pulling me out of my faraway thoughts, and I jolted on the spot before he slipped my shirt down and patted my stomach.
“What about you?” I licked my lips and stared hungrily at the tent his cock made in his pants. Sadly, even though I could clearly see the outline of him, he wasn’t as excited as he had been.
“Later.” He grabbed my chin and tilted my head up until I met his gaze. The smile on his face let me know he was full of himself at the moment, but then again, maybe he had a reason to be. He filled out those pants really well. “We have to go find the bear. If we don’t, one of the neighbors might shoot her.”
“You were serious? Like… grrr.” I put my hands up and made fake ears on my head. “That kind of bear?”
He laughed again and snagged one of my hands down to tug me to my feet. I stumbled behind him toward the door, feeling unsteady. What could I do except follow, especially since it was finally beginning to feel like the world was spinning the right direction for once.
