I won’t pull her down the rest of the way. Fuck, if I do, I’ll come. It’ll be out of my control.
"Caden..." she whimpers, a sharp gasp catching in her throat as her hips stall halfway down. She trembles over me, her hands gripping my shoulders so hard her knuckles turn white. She’s reached the point of no return.
Snapping out of my daze, I lean in and cup her chin. Distracting her with the heat of my tongue, I draw her in a ragged kiss as her body finally slides all the way down. I eat up her groan and don’t dare move as scalding heat engulfs my cock.
This must be what heaven feels like.
"You did so good," I rumble against her mouth, my hands sliding down to frame her waist, holding her completely still so her body can adjust to feeling me buried all the way inside her. "You're all mine now, Valerie."
Her smile stretches like my words are exactly what she wants to hear.
Moving my hands to her hips, I help guide her up to help get her started. She gasps at the sudden pull, then immediately sinks back down.
Every roll of her hips sends a wave of heat straight to my chest, driving me closer to the edge than I’ve ever been.
Watching her eyes glaze over with pure pleasure, I lose myself right alongside her.
I pull her down into a deep kiss, swallowing her soft whimpers as the momentum builds between us.
It doesn’t take long before I feel the telltale signs of her orgasm approaching. Her inner muscles ripple and clamp down tight around me, her back bowing into my touch as a shuddering wave of release crashes over her.
Through heavy lids, I watch her grow stiff before she’s crying out my name as she reaches her limit. The sudden clench of her body wrapped around me helps bring me with her.
With one final, heavy thrust, the coil in my gut snaps, and I bury my face into the crook of her neck, letting the wave sweep through me as I pour everything I have into her.
Left a panting mess, I barely get much time to enjoy the blissful wave that overcomes us.
This was perfect. Everything I could possibly ask for. And now, I’ve got to figure out a way to keep Valerie and make her mine.
Chapter seven
Valerie
Waking up in Caden’s bed feels like a dream come true. As if nothing had really happened, I pinch myself to make sure. The pinch hurts as much as it’s supposed to.
A thick arm wraps around my waist, a heater warms my back, and I turn to find Caden sleeping peacefully behind me. When his expression isn't twisted into a scowl, he looks even more handsome at peace.
Wiggling in his grip, I roll around so I'm facing him. Looking at his mouth, I have to fight the urge to lean in and brush my lips against his.
We'd spent the entirety of yesterday together, so much so that my body throbs just from thinking about everything we'd done. If I'm not careful and let my thighs graze each other, I'm going to get myself worked up all over again.
As much as I enjoy watching this man sleep, I can't stay here forever. Even if his bed is super comfortable and this is the place I've always imagined myself in, my throat is parched, and my body is stiff. I need to stretch out my limbs.
Carefully getting out of his hold without waking him up, I slip out from beneath the covers. Instantly, the cold morning air prickles up my skin. Shivering and looking around for something to cover my body with, I realize my clothes are nowhere to be found. We'd left them where I discarded them off of the couch.
It would be rude to walk around his house naked, wouldn't it?
Looking around, I spot his closet. An idea pops into my head, and I approach. Unable to contain my growing smile, I steal one of his shirts. It's a simple tee, but it swallows me whole and smells like him. Hoping this will be enough to cover me, I look down and notice the hem brushes my thighs. I think I'll be okay without underwear.
Now properly covered, I slip out of his room and get a better view of his cabin. I hadn't really spent much time looking around before. His home is cozy, made up of warm browns and reds.
The fireplace that had radiated so much heat the night before has now mostly died down. A few red-hot coals still glow, but if time passes without feeding the fire, no more heat will come off at all. As I approach, I carefully stick in a log and poke at it until a few flames flick upward.
Hoping that'll help until Caden can take care of it properly, I hunt down something to drink in his kitchen. Only once I have a glass to my lips do I hear a distant set of footsteps. I turn around and lean against the counter, waiting for him to appear.
This next part is going to be hard. Not because I'm considering asking him to take me home, but because I need to ask him to let me stay. I don't want him to think that this was a night of fun.
I need to tell him that I love him. Hopefully I showed it throughout the night, so he shouldn't be too taken off guard, but I can't leave his cabin without him knowing.
