I really didn’t know what the fuck was wrong with me.
If I hadn’t bloody wanked in the shower last week, none of this would be happening.
Eleanor wouldn’t have seen me.
And I wouldn’t have wasted an obscene amount of time wondering whether she stayed and watched because she enjoyed seeing me stroke my cock. Or if it was because she was so horrified she couldn’t find the strength to move.
As crazy as it sounded, I really hoped it was the latter, because knowing that she enjoyed it would make my already overactive imagination run even wilder.
There was too much going on with the company right now.
The last thing I needed was a distraction.
Especially one from another employee.
Enough was enough.
I reached for my phone, scrolled through my contacts, then pressed the call button.
‘Blake! Hello, darling,’ Mirabelle drawled in her seductive voice.
‘Are you free tonight?’ I said, cutting straight to the chase. Mirabelle and I had hooked-up on and off over the years whenever I was single. We had a mutually agreeable arrangement. One that didn’t require wasting time on small-talk.
‘For you? Always. You know where to find me. I’ll be waiting.’
‘Good.’ I hung up.
There. Problem solved.
Tonight I’d fuck Mirabelle senseless.
A few hours with her and I’d be guaranteed to get this stupid Eleanor fixation out of my head.
Once and for all.

‘Did you tell Joe the news?’ Dana beamed at me from across the table. We’d finished work and were on Sated’s rooftop bar enjoying the views and our drinks.
‘What news?’ I frowned.
‘About you popping your sex toy cherry!’ She cackled.
‘You used the toys?’ Joe’s eyes widened with excitement.
‘Yes.’ I tried to stifle a smile.
‘Yay! Congratulations, darling!’ He cheered as if I’d just discovered the cure for the world’s worst diseases instead of just putting a series of vibrating plastic items between my legs. Although to be fair, it had been a revelation. ‘So come on, spill. How was it?’
‘Good,’ I said sheepishly, before glancing around to check there weren’t any other colleagues or management in earshot.
‘Good?’ Joe wrinkled his nose. ‘If it’s only good you must be doing it wrong.’
‘It was more than good. I felt like I’d floated to heaven. It was amazing. Maybe too amazing…’ My voice trailed off. I hadn’t meant to say that last part.
‘No such thing!’ Joe scoffed.
