‘Why?’

‘You’ll see…’

Forty-minutes later we were in bed, our chests heaving after going another round. The man was insatiable and I loved it.

‘You’re addictive.’ Blake wiped his forehead with the back of his hand.

‘I could say the same about you, Mr CEO. And I don’t mean CEO as in Chief Executive Officer, I mean, Chief Executive of Orgasms!’ I laughed and a satisfied grin spread across Blake’s face. ‘You’re like Percy Pig.’

‘You’re comparing me to a pig?’ He grimaced. ‘I preferred the CEO nickname better.’

‘Not an actual pig! The sweets. Y’know, the fruit gums from M&S?’

‘No.’ He shook his head.

‘Oh my God!’ I gasped. ‘And there I was thinking I was the one who’d been living under a rock! Although to be fair, I only discovered them when I came to London. My parents didn’t let me have sweets. They said my teeth would fall out.’

‘No sweets at all?’

‘Nope.’ I sighed. ‘Anyway, Percy Pig sweets are addictive too. You should try them.’

‘Noted.’ Blake’s mouth twitched. ‘Do you have plans for the rest of the day?’

‘No. Why? Do you want to lock me in your sex dungeon and have your wicked way with me, again?’ I laughed.

‘Tempting, but I have some things to take care of.’

‘Oh.’ My face fell.

I knew I shouldn’t be disappointed.

Blake was a busy man.

The fact that he’d asked me to stay, bought me clothes, invited me on a run followed by breakfast, before fucking me again, were all unexpected bonuses.

Expecting more from a hook-up was being greedy.

I hated that I was acting so thirsty, but I wasn’t joking about the CEO nickname. Blake was phenomenal at giving orgasms. And surprisingly fun to be around, too.

When we’d first met, never in a million years did I imagine that I’d be spending a Saturday morning in his bed.

And given how bullish he was towards me, the idea of enjoying his company was even more unlikely.

‘Last night, apart from a Chinese takeaway, what were your plans?’ he asked.

‘I was supposed to watch a film as part of my popular culture homework.’ I sat up.

‘Popular culture homework?’ His face crumpled.

‘After I was nine, we didn’t have a TV or listen to the radio and because I was home-schooled, I didn’t interact with people my age to know what they were into, so there’s lots of popular films and music that I’m not familiar with. So I was going to watch a romcom Joe recommended.’

‘Joe.’ His nostrils flared. ‘The guy who touched you at the awards. Were you two ever involved?’

‘I told you! We’re just friends. And I’m not his type. He likes guys.’

‘So what film were you going to watch?’ Blake’s face relaxed.

‘The Proposal.’
