“Have fun,” he says, helping her stand.
She seems a little disappointed that he didn’t kiss her, but Ciaran doesn’t enjoy kissing random girls. Noor is the only one who is the exception to that.
Ciaran lifts his laptop back onto his legs and Alexa takes that as her cue to leave. At least she didn’t push things too far with him.
“I may have a location,” he says, as if he didn’t grow a second fucking head.
“Okay, Mr. Mysterious,” I mutter.
“What?” he asks. “She could be useful, Alastair. One day, we may need that information. For what purpose? I don’t know yet. Shit, I found her.”
“Where?” Draven asks, leaning in.
Ciaran must need to purge the feel of Alexa on his skin, because he grips Draven’s hair to drag him in for a kiss. I see Ciaran doesn’t give a shit if anyone sees us together.
Honestly, no one bothers to talk about the three of us in gossip outside of school in hushed voices. There won’t be a video recorded of this kiss, and it won’t make it back to Ciaran’s homophobic parents. Plus, people know my house is a place to safely let loose. Unless I’m the one who is punishing someone, cameras aren’t allowed past the front door.
One of the freshman hockey players made sure to take everyone’s phones already.
A low moan catches my attention as a girl gets her pussy eaten out by a cheerleader, proving my point. No one will care or mention that Carly’s father is a well known pastor in the area. Experiment, have fun, I don’t give a shit.
As cliche as it is, my house is a safe space. My dad took Kelsie out of town, and this is supposed to be my time to blow off some steam. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem as likely now.
“She went into a shop at seven tonight and never came out,” Ciaran says. “It’s called Cellie’s Mystics, and it’s owned by Broken Brothers’ Enterprise. Why does that sound familiar?”
“That’s the same umbrella corporation that founded our school,” I mutter. “Hmm. Maybe her foster mother has her working?”
“Like an indentured servant?” Draven asks, chuckling.
“No,” I snort, standing. “Who’s had the least to drink?”
“You,” Draven says, watching as Ciaran puts away his laptop and grabs his backpack. I’ll drop him off at his place after our side quest.
Glancing at the bottle I only took a sip of, I nod. Before that, I only had a beer when everything first started. I’m good to drive.
“Let’s go see what she’s up to,” I say, fishing my keys out of my jeans.
The three of us are dressed casually in dark wash jeans, long sleeved muscle shirts, and jackets in various colors. Ciaran points in Alexa’s direction to get her attention and her eyes light up as she watches us leave. My house better fucking be standing when I get back.
The guys follow me as I walk through the quiet house. My rules are simple: stay out of the main house, use the pool house to piss, and don’t break anything. I haven’t had any issues so far when I throw parties, and I make sure everyone gets home safely. I have sober teammates hanging out to help ferry people home as necessary.
I’m not a total dick, but I do act like it.
“Ciaran you’re on navigation duty. Don’t get me lost,” I say, getting into my car. I hate driving flashy vehicles. I mainly drive the SUV unless I need to throw my weight around.
“Got it,” he says, getting into the passenger seat as Draven stretches out in the back.
Opening the garage doors, I maneuver my way through all the cars on the driveway and front lawn. Thankfully, I’m able to cut through the vehicles to escape the mess, and then I’m pulling onto the road.
“What are we going to do when we get there?” I ask. I didn’t think that far ahead.
“If the store is large enough for us to go in and avoid her foster family, then we will,” Ciaran says. “I want her to see she’s not getting away with anything. I can find her anywhere she goes. She can’t fucking hide from us.”
Damn. He’s not wrong though.
Nodding, I turn the radio on while keeping the volume low. Ciaran manages not to get me lost, and I notice how cute and trendy this neighborhood is. It’s a pain in the ass to park though, and I blow out my breath in annoyance once I find a spot two blocks down.
“Guess we’re going for a walk,” I grumble, opening the door.
