“It’ll be quick. I’ll text you when I’m done since your phone calls are top secret.”

He laughed while getting up. I admired my baby as he threw on a t-shirt, new boxers, and fresh cotton Nike shorts I got him. “Not a secret, just not a place for a woman. Especially not mine. Don’t burn the building down, foe.”

“Now you being silly, nigga!”

I threw a pillow at him as he rushed out, chuckling. As soon as the front door closed I hopped up, throwing just the shirt on. K4 knows he cannot come in the kitchen, so he laid at the room door watching me rush around.

He obviously has plans for today, so I don’t want to take long. But then again, my nigga was in county for five years, bitch! Fuck is you talm bout. It’s pussy and meals every chance I get! I hate eating too early, so I just decided to cook for his big, hungry ass who is always down to eat. A small smile was on my lips as I put grease into a pan before dicing up a potato and onion.

After Kenzo left, we didn’t speak again until late. He FaceTimed me to tell me he’s home (at Duke’s) for the night, and he loves me. What a nice surprise it was waking up to him in bed with me where he belongs. And who told him to send my cousin away?! I need someone to gossip to ASAP!

As the diced potatoes and onion cooked, I put extra beef bacon into a pan, frying it a little too crispy exactly how I know he likes. I remember him telling me how hard it was to get the amount of protein he wanted to in there. After taking the bacon out, I cracked three eggs into the pan, seasoning with black pepper and salt. While everything was wrapping up, I toasted a piece of bread with peanut butter just for a lil extra protein.

Quickly, I plated the food and wrapped the plate in aluminum foil. I sat out ketchup, water, and mango orange juice with a glass and silverware. Walking back into the room, I sent him a simple kissy emoji before dashing into the bathroom and in the shower. As soon as I started scrubbing myself, the front door closed.

“It’s me, pretty girl.”

“Okay, baby!”

I laid on my smell goods extra thick. No part of me had a clue what this man was planning or where we’re going. What I do know is, he hasn’t moved around during the day that much since being back. If he’s choosing to do so with me on his hip? I’ma most definitely remind niggas why I haven’t seen a dollar bill in seven years.

Getting out the shower, I dabbed my body with a towel and then rubbed oil on. After brushing my teeth, my hands worked quickly to beat my face the best I’ve had probably since I started doing make up. Eyebrows smoked. A brown lid and lip with lightly red cheeks. A doll.

Before even getting dressed, I put my jewelry on. Diamond earrings in all three holes on both ears. Diamond tennis necklace and bracelet. Diamond anklet. In the closet, I tore clothes everywhere looking for the perfect fit. Since I’ma be with my man, I get to wild out a bit.

With that being said, I picked out a white, tight-fitting romper. You could see every curve and indent of my body through it. The entire back was out with a split in the front. No bra or panties, of course. I heard Kenzo changing clothes as I slid on some light pink heels to match the Chanel Papa just got me. Lastly, I untied my scar and bonnet in the closet, admiring my hair in the mirror.

“I prayed every day in that fucking cell that I would make it out to see you in person one more time,” Kenzo said from behind me. He was the one to talk. Crispy ass jeans with NO BEDAZZLES, Jordans, white tee, jewelry, and his locs in a messy bun. “Bring yo fine ass on, Cassandra. Before I break you.”

I cackled, spinning around and strutting out of the closet. In one hand he held his phone and in the other arm he held K4. We left the apartment and made our way to the lobby. Several glances were thrown my way as I pushed through, Chanel and man on my arm as he carried my little puppy.

Valet brought the AMG to us. He side eyed me as he opened the passenger door. Once K4 and I were tucked in, he hopped in, peeling off.

“I’ve always loved this car for you. Let me know if you’re sick of it.”

“It’s perfect. What you got going today?”

“Sheeeit!” is all he said. I laughed, mugging his head softly.

His hand rubbed across my thigh, wrapping around it. I couldn’t even help myself but to touch him also. My hand slid up his arm and to his shoulder, rubbing it softly. The car floated towards the southside. I haven’t really been out this way since before K3 went away. The windows were down as Decline by Lil Durk ft. Chief Keef played.

“That food was bussin, on my fucking dead granny!”

“Let that woman rest! And plus, why haven’t I heard from my cousin?!”

“Your cousin? DEBRA?!”

“DEVYN!” I cackled.

“She out being grown like we being. She needa take ha ass over to Duke’s. She’s all that nigga ever talk about. I don’t even get to talk about you.”

I giggled, “Duke has been hearing you talk about me for seven years; it’s his turn!”

“He’s gon listen to whatever the hell I got to say!” he shouted like the baby brother he is. “But, shorty coo, right? I’d hate to have to kick her in the side of her head for hurting my brother’s feelings.”

“Awwwwww! You and your brudderrrr!” I jokingly put my nail into his ear as he laughed, swatting it away.

“Quit playing. I’ll still rob a nigga and da baby.”
