I dipped my gaze to his pathetic bulge caught tight between my fingers and back to him. “If you’re lying about the location, I’ll be sure to come back and cut them off of you.”

The moment I released them, wetness formed on the top of his slacks, spreading out beyond his crotch.

His body shuddered and seized beneath me. “Ah! Fuck.”

“Sadist pig.”

His lips stretched to a grin, eyes hooded with his release. “I like rough bitches. Stick around, I’ll give you an encore.”

“I’d sooner fuck this envelope opener than let you touch me.” I climbed off his lap and tossed the opener onto the desk.

Bending over himself, he licked his lips. “Can I watch?”

I flipped him off as I strode out of the office, shutting the door behind me.

I leaned into the bar, staring down at the empty shot glass in front of me. Should’ve known Ricky wouldn’t talk. Asshole had always been kind of shady like that—always a talker, bragging about his money, his cars, his connections.

“You ready for another, Boss?” Brody nabbed the glass I’d been mentally chatting with for the last five minutes, since Nicoleta had taken off to use the bathroom. Didn’t like letting her go off alone, but I sure as fuck didn’t like being compared to one of Tesarik’s goons, either.

Though, comparison, or not, if she wasn’t out soon, I’d be going in after her.

“Nah. I’m good, thanks. Gotta drive.”

“I’ll take a vodka and cranberry, Brody.” The voice from beside me skated down my spine like fragments of glass against a chalkboard. “What’s going on, Dax?”

Last time I’d heard it, she’d been screaming into my phone, telling me what a dick-bag I was.

I twisted just enough to see Tanya, my ex, sitting far too close for my comfort, staring back at me with her evil grin. Admittedly, the same grin that’d gotten her fucked the first night we’d met, but I digressed. It’d quickly become one I’d since grown to hate. More troubling than the expression on her face, though, was the outfit she sported. Gold and glittery, with shorts hiked up to her ass and pasties over her nipples. One of the costumes from the back, no doubt.

“You work here now?”

“Just started last week. Had a feeling you’d show up here sooner, or later.”

“Thanks. You’ve given me reason to stay the fuck away now. What’d you do, give Ricky the Tanya Special?”

Lips soured to a mocking pout, she tipped her head. “Awww, don’t be like that, Dax. We had some good times, right? No reason we can’t be friends.”

“Friends don’t sell friends out to known criminals.”

“Dmitry? I thought you two knew each other. He sounded concerned for your wellbeing.”

I sneered and shook my head. “Aren’t you fucking sweet, looking after me that way.”

“I’ll make it up to you. How about a lap dance? For old time’s sake.”

“No thanks.”

“C’mon, Dax. D’you have any idea how many men I’ve fucked trying to feel the way you made me feel?”

“Half the city?”

She chuckled and lifted her drink for a sip. “You’ve always been an asshole. But that’s what I like about you. You’re a big, strong, alpha asshole. With a big pierced cock.”

“And you’re the bitch who burned my wardrobe and slashed my tires.” Turning away, I caught sight of Nicoleta stepping out of the hallway and breathed a sigh of relief. Time to blow that fucking pop-stand and never come back. I’d deal with Ricky later, off his turf. Maybe get him shitfaced, so he’d be more inclined to talk.
