CHAPTER 14
Joshua
I walk into the Ivy behind Cameron and Adrian at 11.50 pm. Our security trails behind us. I’ve been pissed off all day. We went to the VIP room last night and I had to leave suddenly. I was faced with a situation that has never happened to me before and I’m in shock.
Adrian turns to me. “Come on, soft cock.” He smiles.
I glare at him. “Shut up before I punch your ugly face in.
I’m not even joking.”
He and Cameron laugh. They think this is hilarious. All day I have been copping it. I couldn’t get it up last night. A beautiful woman was pulsating on my lap naked and…nothing. I had to leave in embarrassment with my tail between my legs.
“Were you hard when Tash kissed you yesterday?” Cameron smiles as we wait at the bar for our drinks.
“What do you reckon?” I snap. I rub my face in frustration. “Now the fucking bitch has made me impotent as well.”
They both laugh out loud.
“How long till we get this job finished? I need to get out of here,” I murmur.
“Oh shit,” Cameron murmurs as he drops his head, “Two o’clock.”
Adrian’s eyes and mine follow where his direction is indicating.
“Oh great,” Adrian whispers. “I didn’t bring a leash.”
The beautiful prostitute that I slept with before I got back with Tash is here. Great, more ammunition for her to fire my way.
We turn and head to our regular lounging hangout upstairs. “How did you get me here anyway? I told you I wasn’t coming,” I say flatly.
“Um, I think I said, are you coming to the Ivy? And you said are the girls still coming? And I said yes. And you said, what time?” Cameron smirks.
“Hilarious,” I mouth at him as I take a sip of my drink.
Bridget and Abbie come through the crowd. Bridget smiles and sits on the arm of my chair.
“Hi,” she smiles as she runs her hand over the top of my head.
“Hi,” I smile. Abbie and Cameron immediately start to talk.
“Where is Tash?” Adrian asks.
“Oh my God, she’s so drunk. We left her downstairs with
her bodyguard. I give it half an hour and she will have to go home.”
My eyes flick to Adrian and he stands. “I will go and get her.” He disappears through the club.
“Who is the guard she has with her?” I ask.
“Mine,” Abbie laughs. Hmm, she’s really drunk too. “Where have you been? Why are you so drunk?” I ask. “We went out for dinner to celebrate,” Bridget smiles into
her drink as she tips her head back to scull.
“Celebrate what?” Cameron asks as he flops into the chair beside me.
Bridget and Abbie burst into laughter as their eyes meet. “Just stuff,” Bridget murmurs.
