He grinned wickedly before rising onto his knees. “Oh, you think that’s funny. Come here!” He grabbed my ankle, dragging my body toward him. I squealed, trying to get away, but he was relentless. He started tickling my stomach, and I lost it.
“C-c-ch-christiannnn! Stopppp!” I said through my laughter. I had always been extremely ticklish. I hated it.
All of a sudden, he stopped while smiling down at me. “Why are you so fuckin’ beautiful?” He bit his lip salaciously.
I covered my face because I knew I was blushing. “Christian,” I whined.
He pulled my hands down. “Why are you hiding from me?”
“Because you’re always making me blush.”
He shrugged, dropping his body on top of mine. “I can’t help it. Every time I look at you, I say to myself, goddamn, my baby is so fuckin’ fine.” I covered my face again, causing him to roar with laughter.
I had never had a man make me feel as beautiful as he did. I wasn’t insecure or anything, but the way Christian looked at me made me feel like I was the world's highest-paid model or something.
I gripped the back of his neck, pulling him down for a kiss. Having him rest between my legs had me ready to feel him inside me again. He was slowly turning me into a sex-crazed fiend for him. As soon as our lips touched, Christian slithered his tongue into my mouth. Reaching underneath me, he slid his hands down to my ass and squeezed them.
He lifted our bodies, bringing me to straddle his lap. Our kiss grew hot and heavy. I was ready to get out of these clothes. I grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it off. He did the same to me before gripping the clasp of my bra.
“Christian, I got your… Ahh.” A woman appeared in the doorway of the game room.
“Ma!” Christian yelled with wide eyes.
Lord, take me now. His mother just caught us about to have sex.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know you had company. I’ll just wait in the living room,” she said hastily and scurried off.
I had my face buried in his throat. We were both silent, and for some reason Christian found this hilarious. He started laughing like a damn hyena. I pulled back to glare at him, slapping the back of my hand against his chest.
“This is not funny,” I hissed at him in a low tone.
“It's hilarious, baby. I’ve told my mama a thousand times that her spare key is for emergencies only. I bet you she won’t just walk in here anymore.” He removed me from his lap and stood, grabbed his shirt off the floor, and put it on. “Come on, Brit.”
I glared at him. “I am not going in there. Your mother just saw me without a shirt on.”
He shook his head. “Brit, if you don’t come out, she’s going to come back here. She’s been asking to meet you for a while now. She won’t leave until that happens.”
I gasped in shock. “You told your mother about me?”
“Technically, she found out because Sof posted our ceremony picture on her stories. But once I told her I was seriously pursuing you, she asked to meet you. Now, come on.”
He pulled me up from the ground, handing me my shirt. He interlocked our fingers, leading me into the living room. When we walked in, I saw a carbon copy of Cara standing there. They looked exactly the same except she didn’t have gold eyes.
She stood there with her arms folded, watching us carefully. “Sorry for barging in, you two. Christian didn’t inform me he had a guest,” she said accusingly.
Christian rubbed his head. “Don’t do that, Mama. I was going to introduce you two. Brit and I were just spending some quality time together.” He pulled me closer to him. “Ma, this is Brittney. Brittney, this is my mother, Crystal.”
I extended my hand to shake hers. “Nice to meet you, ma’am.”
She waved her hand. “Oh, sweetheart, we hug in this family. And it’s Crystal or Mama whenever you’re comfortable,” she responded, pulling me into a hug.
I sighed in relief. I didn’t exactly have the best in-laws with Julian. His mother was so standoffish and rude. Crystal seemed so welcoming, and I had only known her for five minutes.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Crystal.”
She smiled widely. “Same.” Crystal's eyes swept over me from head to toe. “Now I can see why my baby boy is singing a different tune about relationships. You are absolutely gorgeous.”
Christian pulled me against his body, laughing when I started blushing again. “Ma, what are you doing here?”
