Roz’s body tenses above mine as his eyebrows sink faster than the Titanic.
Oh, shit. This might be a first.
Roz
A chorus of voices echoes from the side of the house somewhere.
“Did you just…” Gia glances down between us.
“What? No. I didn’t come in my pants from some dry humping. Jesus, give me some credit.”
A glare out to the corner of the house proves whoever’s over there is getting closer as flashlight beams bounce across the grass.
Fuck me. This is bad. I mean it was good. So fucking good. But now it’s going to shit.
Sixty-nine with Gia? Yes, fucking please. I want to do everything with Gia. All of it. I just don’t think I’ll get to. She’s told me as much, over and over and fucking over again. So, I need to make sure whatever I do get to do with her, I do better than I’ve ever done anything in my life and this whole pool-inside-a-pool situation isn’t helping. Neither is the audience on its way out to us.
“We gotta go,” I tell her, then quickly latch on to the cement lip when we bump into the pool’s edge again. Gia finally catches on and climbs out ahead of me. After passing her all the crap we brought out, she wraps it all into a blanket that I grab once I’m back on solid ground.
She’s going to run.
I know it. This is the good part and she’s going to disappear, leaving me with a monster of a hard-on and a shitload of regret.
“I, uh—” she starts as soon as we’re inside and, dropping the blanket sack, I spin around so fast her head jerks back.
“No. Nope. You’re going up to my room and I’m going to make you come so hard, you’ll swear you’re still seeing stars.”
I don’t care how I get to do it, what I get to use, I’m making Gia come. Twice, preferably.
Gia grins. “I was going to say I need to use the bathroom.”
“Oh.” Okay. “You’re not going to take another bath, are you?”
Her chuckle is my only answer as she closes the door behind her. So, is that a no? Or…
With a shake of my head, I clean everything up before stopping off at the cookie jar for a handful of condoms.
I take the fact that there’s no water running as a good sign as I pass the bathroom on the way up to my room.
After fluffing a pillow for the third time, I give up and stare at the door, talking myself out of pouncing on Gia the second she walks in. Except, she never comes. I wait for at least forty minutes—okay, seconds—before I’m back downstairs looking for her.
Unsurprisingly, the door to the bathroom is wide open with the inside dark as night.
Fuck. She ran.
A hushed voice, not exactly a whisper, but definitely lowered for privacy, draws me over to the other stairwell—the one leading to my roommates’ rooms.
The entire house is dark, so I can only make out shapes, but I’d know Gia’s body anywhere and she’s pushed up against what might just be Fletcher’s.
Blood pounding in my ears, I start forward only to freeze when I hear Gia out of breath and threatening, “Don’t go back in there.”
“Please. Like you’re any better?” This whisper is different. It’s male and full of resentment. “You can’t tell me you’re not using Roz like you’ve used every other person that was stupid enough to fall at your feet.”
“That’s not the same and you fucking know it, Fletcher.”
Called it.
But why? What the fuck are they doing?
