It isn’t the first time these two men have rendered me speechless. I unbuckle my seatbelt and turn sideways in my seat so I can look at both of them.
“Yes, I’ll marry you.” I don’t even have to think about it. There’s nothing I want more in the world than to be theirs forever.
Becks pulls the ring out of the box and puts it on my finger. “It looks perfect on you, pretty girl.”
He leans in to kiss me, but I gasp, rearing back before he can brush his lips over mine.
“Wait. But I can’t marry you both. You aren’t trying to get me to choose after all, right? Because I still can’t.”
“No, baby,” Macklin reassures me. “We know you can’t legally marry both of us. To be honest, it doesn’t really matter which name goes on the marriage certificate. Your last name is going to be Shayba either way. And in our hearts, we know you’re ours and we’re both yours.”
My shoulders sag in relief. “Ok. But it’s still a choice we have to make, and I don’t want it to create issues between the two of you.”
Becks takes my hand and brings my knuckles to his lips. “We don’t have to decide today, pretty girl. But we’re happy to go with a skill-based challenge if you want. Like, the one between us who scores the most points next season is going to sign that marriage certificate.”
“Or,” Mack agrees. “The one who gives you the most orgasms in a certain amount of time.”
I giggle. “Hmm, that would be a good way to decide.”
“But we’re more than happy to draw names from a hat if you want to leave the decision to fate. All I want right now is to kiss my future wife.”
I couldn’t ask for anything better than that.
“You know,” I murmur against his lips when he cranes his neck so he can kiss me. “You should have asked me later at home. Then we could have celebrated a little better.”
Macklin never lets any type of difficulty deter him from what he wants. It’s true on and off the ice. “Wait,” he gets out of the car and tries to slide into the driver’s seat to pull me onto his lap. “Let me slide this seat back for a second so I can kiss you properly.”
And he does. Since the first time he kissed me at the first Zeta party of the year, he’s been able to turn my body into a puddle of goo with his soft, skilled mouth.
Becks is no different. He waits a couple of minutes before pulling me into the passenger seat to get his own kiss.
As usual, things get hot fast. Before I know it, I’m being pulled from one lap to the other.
Their hands are everywhere, and my clothes are starting to feel like an unwanted barrier between me and my two hot fiancés.
A knock on the driver’s window reminds me that we’re on campus in broad daylight.
Being caught by campus security making out inside my brand new car definitely wasn’t on my bingo card today.
“Hey you three, get a room.”
Vaughn’s smiling face is glued to my window, and I sag in relief against Macklin’s solid chest.
“What do you want?” Becks glares at him when I open the car door.
“I was supposed to ride to the graduation party with Tucker, but then I saw the new car and decided to ride with you guys instead.”
“You couldn’t have chosen a worse time,” Macklin bites out. “But sure, I guess you can ride with us.”
I soothe him, kissing the tip of his nose. “Come on. His timing is just right. We were getting a little too carried away.”
“I suppose,” he sighs. “Let me get back into the back seat. We’ll christen the new car another time. Heston, are you gonna get in or what?”
Vaughn’s mischievous smile widens. “Shotgun.”
“The fuck you’re riding shotgun,” Becks growls.
“Oh, come on,” Vaughn teases him. “I know Talia hates to give preferential treatment to either of you. I’m just helping her keep things fair. Besides, I’ll miss her pretty face when you’re all in Seattle.”
