Come get me.
His wolf roared. Christmas read over his shoulder, and Chrome didn't stop her. For a long moment, no one spoke. Then Chris whispered, “He's alive.” Chrome stared at the words. Twelve years—twelve fucking years. He'd watched Elias die, buried him, run from the place that killed him, and built another life. He found Silverfang, found his brothers. And he found—his gaze shifted toward Christmas, whatever the hell she was becoming.
Chrome closed his fist around the bracelet. Tomorrow wasn't soon enough. He turned toward Howler. “We leave now.”
Christmas nodded, and Tempest looked at her. “You sure?” Chris reached for her kutte hanging near the garage door and slid it on. She was once again Dark Chaos’s VP. There was no hesitation and no fear in her eyes now.
“Someone got into our clubhouse twice.” Her eyes met his. “And Chrome’s dead brother has come back to life.” Chrome's chest tightened, and Chris grabbed her keys from the hook.
He frowned. “What are you doing?”
“Driving,” she said.
“Like hell you are,” he said.
“It’s my truck,” she insisted.
“I'll drive,” he said.
“Why?” she asked.
“Because I know the roads,” he said.
“I've been driving since I was sixteen,” she breathed.
“Mountain roads?” he asked.
“Yes,” she said.
“In snow?” he asked.
“Yes,” she breathed.
“While being psychically summoned by a creepy Christmas wolf cult?” he asked.
Chris paused. “That's oddly specific.” Chrome almost smiled, and she tossed him the keys. He caught them. “Fine.”
Chrome stared. “That easy?”
“Don't get used to it.” She walked past him. Chrome looked at Mayhem, and his VP grinned.
“Yep, this is going to be fun,” he said under his breath.
“Fuck off,” Chrome growled. Mayhem laughed, and Chrome followed Christmas toward the door. His brother might be alive. Holly Ridge wanted Christmas, and his wolf had started calling her ours. Chrome had no idea which problem was going to destroy him first.
Christmas stopped at the doorway and looked back. “You coming?” Chrome looked at her, and his wolf answered immediately. Always. Fuck.
Chrome shoved the bracelet into his pocket. “Right behind you, Christmas.” She rolled her eyes, but she waited for him, and for reasons Chrome wasn't ready to examine, that meant more than it should have.

What’s coming up next? You won’t want to miss Monster Mania (31 Days of Trick or Treat Collab) coming in October 2026!
Jackhammer
Jackhammer sat at the end of the bar, at Monster’s Madhouse, his leather kutte hanging heavily on his shoulders. The whiskey in front of him was as untouched as the half-pack of smokes by his elbow. The brothers around him were laughing, swapping stories, but all of it washed over him like distant static. He wasn’t into it tonight. Hell, he hadn’t been into anything for months.
The truth was simple—he was tired. Not of the road, not of his club, not of the nomadic life he had chosen to live until this point. No—Jackhammer was tired of being alone.
