“Want me to stop?”

I tilted my head back to rest on his shoulder. “No.” I swallowed, my pulse picking up speed. “But we aren’t alone.”

He slipped his fingertips under the lace of my bra. “I’m dying to touch you. Kiss you.”

On screen, the couple fell into the snow. The room burst with laughter.

Alejandro skimmed his finger over my nipple. “Fuck you.”

I bit my tongue to hold back a moan. He’d lost his mind. So had I.

“Soon,” he whispered, dropping his hand.

I pulled the blanket up to my chin. Pretended to laugh at the movie while burning inside. Then I reached behind me. My fingers found him hard. He shuddered, giving my waist a warning squeeze. “Cuidado.”

Careful.

I buried my face in his neck. “You started it,” I whispered. “Not my fault.”

He leaned down, pressing his lips to the top of my head. “This movie better be over fast.”

***

Our bedroom door closed behind us with a click, shielding us from the world. A fire crackled in the fireplace Alejandro must’ve lit when he went to the bathroom.

It was happening. We’d finally be together. I shoved the nerves aside—this was Alejandro. I trusted him, and he cared about me.

His smoldering gaze rivaled the heat of the flames. He picked me up effortlessly, and I curled my legs around his hips as he pressed me against the wall.

“Could barely wait to be alone with you,” he mumbled against my neck, skimming it with his lips. “Never wanted anything so much.”

I ran my nails over his scalp. He shivered, letting out a chuckle. “That turns me on.”

“Me touching your hair?”

“You touching me.” He licked a path down my throat, to the curve of my shoulder, then let out a frustrated sound when the fabric of my knit sweater got in the way. “I want to take this off.”

“Please. But yours first.”

I gripped the hem of his black sweater, tugging it higher. Every toned inch of him I uncovered made me desperate for more. He helped me remove it, then tossed it onto the rug.

“My turn. Let me.”

Slowly, like we had all the time in the world and not just one night, he pushed my sweater up, caressing the skin underneath. When he reached my breasts, the want in his eyes stole my breath.

“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” he said, lifting the fabric until he could tug it up and over my head.

Without the barrier of clothes between us, my skin touched his. Shivers blazed along my spine when he ran his fingertips over my breasts. Then his mouth closed over mine.

On the deck, he’d been slow. Measured. Nothing was the same now. He kissed me hard, demanding, and I gripped his shoulders as I met every lick and bite with one of mine.

I’d never been kissed this way. Never felt so wanted.

Not just wanted, needed.

He slid his fingers under the straps of my bra. In one smooth motion, he tugged them down, baring my breasts.

His thumb rubbed my hard nipple, and I let out a whimper.
