He stood up and retrieved my witch hat from where it fell onto the floor. He placed the hat back on my head and spun me around to get the full view of my slinky black dress. He looked at me like he was reconsidering slamming me against his desk and taking me on it.

“Later, baby,” I warned him. “Come join me at the party. You know I love Halloween.”

He cupped my face. “I know you do, but you’re gonna get it so good later.”

“Promises, promises!” I teased.

“So bad…” he whispered.

“Party first. Playtime later!” I exclaimed.

A soft smile curled up on his lips, and he let me take his hand and drag him away from his work.

Chapter Twenty

DECLAN

I watched Lila laugh with Gemma, and my eyes roamed across her body, taking in her sexy witch costume. When she came into the office and fucked me in my chair, it had been a welcomed surprise. Now, I was having a hard time telling my dick to wait until later.

I’d admit, I loved all the sexy outfits that Halloween brought out, but especially how she looked tonight. In that black dress, dark makeup, and fuck me heels, she was my dream girl. Would be my dream girl. Always and forever.

“Aw!” Lila cried, and the sound pulled me away from my horny thoughts. I raised an eyebrow, but then I saw my brother and his wife enter the brewery with my niece in Avery’s arms.

Nolan was dressed in black jeans and a black button-down, but he had a red cape over his big shoulders and wore red horns on his head. The scowl on his face put the whole devil ensemble together. Next to him, Avery wore a white dress with a halo on her head that Norah kept trying to knock off. Norah was dressed in a little skeleton onesie.

“You guys look amazing!” Gemma cried.

“Aw, look, she matches her uncle!” Lila said and put a hand to her heart.

I smirked. Gemma had given me shit about my boring costume, but I thought it was good enough. I had been too busy being caught up with Lila this past week to think about what to wear. I had a feeling the same was with Lila, since I was pretty sure that dress was just a regular sexy black dress, but the witch hat and her makeup pulled it all together.

Avery unclenched her newborn’s hand from around her head. “This is why I didn’t put the wings on. Such a little stinker!”

Nolan smiled and took Norah out of her arms. “But she’s so cute! Right, Peanut?” Norah grabbed onto my brother’s beard in response.

“Norah!” Avery chastised and then shook her head.

“Hey, Avs, you look great,” Lila told her.

Avery smiled, and she took us all in. “You all look great, except for Dec. That’s such a cop-out costume!”

“I told him that!” Gemma exclaimed, vindicated.

I shrugged. “The place looks great, Gem.”

“It’s amazing!” Lila agreed.

Gemma’s smile got big. “Great! I wanted it to be awesome. We’re going to do a costume contest too. It’s gonna be so fun!”

I smiled. Gemma got excited about these events, which was exactly why I wanted her in her current position. She was good at what she did.

Lila took a sip of her beer, then she looked at Nolan. “How’s the beer coming along?”

“Great! I haven’t made a red in a really long time. Your dad’s gonna love it.”

“He laughed his ass off at the name,” she said.

Nolan barked out a big, booming laugh. “I knew he would.”
