She pouted. “But didn’t it feel amazing? I loved every second of it. How you took me rough and hard, like you wanted to break me.”
“Of course it felt awesome. But my love, we don’t need an oops like Nolan and Avery.”
“I told you, I’m on the pill. It’s fine.”
I yanked her hair back again. “Not again, you hear me?”
“Yes…” she whispered, but it ended in a moan. I didn’t know what had gotten into her tonight, but she was all horned up, and I intended to take advantage of that.
I flipped her onto her back. “Spread ‘em,” I ordered.
“What are you going to do to me?” she asked, but did as I ordered, like the good girl I wanted her to be. She knew when I wanted the brat and when I needed obedience.
I grinned at her as I reached into the bedside table drawer for the wrist and ankle restraints. “You know, naughty girl. Gotta teach you a lesson.”
“What lesson?”
“That you don’t rile me up when I’m working, or else I get to ride this pussy rough and hard.”
“So, do I get a spanking, then?” she asked gleefully.
I bound her wrists above her head first, then went to the foot of the bed and bound her ankles. “Nope, I get to watch you squirm and beg for it again.”
She could only whimper in response.
I bent down so my lips were on her ear. “Now be a good girl and obey.”
She nodded. “Yes, sir.”
A wolfish grin spread across my face. Tonight was going to be fun.
Chapter Fifteen
LILA
“Dad, please pick one!” I exclaimed as I stood before him at the kitchen island with the three logo designs printed out.
I’d been home for two and a half weeks, and my dad was still hesitant to let me help him make decisions. Felix gave us these designs last week, and he had asked me what was going on. Not having the logo done meant Declan couldn’t finish the website redesign. Which meant Felix couldn’t design a new menu or the sign above the door.
Dad pinned me with an annoyed look from over his cup of coffee. “Honey, let me have my coffee first.”
“No, make a decision!”
He glared at me. “Why are you still here?”
“I told you!” I exclaimed. “The bar’s important to me. I want to help you and Mom make it successful again. We can finish the website and menu redesign if you pick a design.”
He sighed. “I like the harp.”
“He’s worried about the name change,” Mom said, coming into the kitchen to refill her cup of coffee.
“Okay,” I said and nodded, understanding his concerns. “I get that. The PR firm I hired recommended doing a Grand Re-Opening. We switch everything over and do a big event to announce it.”
“When?” Dad asked.
“They recommended it right away,” I said.
Dad sipped his coffee as he thought about it. “You don’t agree.”
