Every tutoring session we had over the next three months was filled with her teaching me, talking about our futures, favorite foods, teachers we liked and disliked, and me going home and picturing her naked underneath a lab coat.

“Oh my God, you got an A!” Cora’s voice was filled with happiness and cheer as she looked at the graded test I’d just given her.

I felt a swell of pride at my accomplishment, but also because I had earned that beautiful smile of hers that was directed at me.

We were sitting on the floor in my room. She leaned in, gripping me in a tight hug. Not one to miss this opportunity, I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. Her chest was pressed up against me, and I had to focus to not get hard with her body pushing into mine.

“I knew you could do it.” Her soft whisper was next to my ear. I wanted badly to just turn my head and kiss her cheek and then work my way down her neck and touch every inch of her body.

She pulled back, but I kept my gaze on hers. She released me from her arms, but while my grip had loosened, my hands remained at her hips, keeping her close.

She stared up at me with those big, beautiful eyes. I’d dreamed of watching those eyes flutter closed after I kissed her senseless.

I knew I needed a taste. I had to kiss her.

I moved slowly, giving her a chance to retreat, but she stayed still, her gaze boring into mine.

“Cora! Which dress looks better?” my sister’s voice yelled from around the corner before she magically appeared in my doorway.

Cora’s body had jolted the instant my sister said her name, and she pulled back from me.

I was going to murder my sister.

I growled. “We’re studying, Morgan. Leave.”

She waved me off like I was a fly in the room. “This is more important.”

She turned to Cora, who now had her full attention. “Pink or blue?”

Cora watched as my sister swapped the two dresses back and forth in front of her.

“Pink,” Cora responded.

“I knew it!”

“You have your choice. Now go away so we can finish,” I ordered her.

Morgan rolled her eyes at me. “Ugh, whatever. Thanks, bestie!”

The instant she was gone, I turned back to Cora, hoping we could salvage the moment and go back to where I had left off.

“Now, where were we before Morgan rudely interrupted?” I grinned and watched as a small smile formed on her face and her cheeks turned pink.

“I was telling you how proud I was of you for your test score.” Her smile brightened, and I loved seeing that directed at me.

“Is there a reward for that? I feel like there should be a reward for all my hard work.”

She chuckled and then tilted her head in deep thought. “What did you have in mind?”

“I have a few ideas,” I told her and started to lean closer to her again, just like I’d done a few moments ago.

“Jay! Cora!” my mom’s voice hollered from downstairs. “Dinner’s ready! Come on down before it gets cold.”

That was it. Everyone in my family was going to be murdered tonight. All of them. Except the dog.

Cora hopped up from the floor. “We…uh…better go.”

Thankfully, I had a few more tutoring sessions with Cora left, because there was no way I was just going to quit there.
