“No, but you’re lecturing me like it’s my fault, when I was.” I cut myself off, letting out a long, slow breath. “I was just–that night–thinking about how I wanted to go home and talk to you about this exact thing, because I care about you that much, too. I get that this is all very scary and new for us both, but I want you, Metal. I want to know the parts you keep hidden away, and I want you here with me to watch movies or do whatever. If my coming out is a requirement for that, then fine, I’ll figure that out, but I want those things with you…I don't want to keep calling you a made-up name.”

“Why are you making this hard?” he whispered, almost like it was meant for just him, not me. “I just want you to love me so we can just be happy and be together, but–”

“I do–that’s the problem!” I shouted, my throat getting tight. “I do, Metal, so what’s the issue? If you’re freaking out because you think you’re alone on the island over there, you’re not…I do…love you. Actual you–no face or name needed, but you leaving me alone like that hurt–I need you to not do that again. Like…if this is you coming back, then I need you to actually mean it. I need you to stay or just go now.”

Metal was quiet for a minute, and every second that ticked by, I felt my cells dying. I wanted him so badly–so badly that I just admitted something that I wouldn't even tell myself until now.

I loved him.

I was in love with him and was willing to do whatever he needed–jump through any hoop if it meant I had him in the end.

“I love you,” he whispered, sniffling softly. “I’m sorry I left you–I won't do it again.”

The tension in my chest eased, allowing air to go into my lungs again at a reasonable pace.

I was safe again.

Maybe that was wrong, and maybe it was a mistake, but I was putting my nervous eggs in his basket, all in the hopes that he meant that this time.

Because I wouldn't survive doing this again–letting him in just to have him rip himself away from me at the drop of a dime.

“Good,” I said calmly, clearing my throat. “It doesn’t have to be today or next week, but soon, I want to meet you, Metal. That’s my requirement for letting you back in–I want to meet you before April.”

That gave him two months.

Two months to feel normal with me again and two months to feel good about meeting me.

Because come hell or high water, I wanted him there when I was back playing. I wanted to see the face I already knew would be pretty, all dressed up in teal and white with the other wives and girlfriends when we started the playoffs.

“Okay,” he said quietly. “I can do that.”

Chapter 21

Landon

“Oh my god, baby,” I groaned, head tilted back into my pillows.

My skin was on fire, and my muscles were so tense from holding on so long, but it felt too good to stop. I wanted to cum ten minutes ago, right after Metal did, but he started going again, and I was just in love with the sound.

God, I could have died happily hearing that man beg for permission to cum for me again.

“Cum for me, Knight,” he panted, whining a little at how sensitive I knew he was, but couldn't stop himself from touching–God, I loved that man.

The idea that some day soon I could see it all in person was just…enough to make me cum, clearly.

My eyes rolled back, and I let out some cross between a groan and a cry of his name, fisting my swollen, aching cock that much faster to carry me through it. Fire sparked through my body, settling as a heavy weight in my balls before finally cresting and breaking free.

Moans broke out of my throat with every pulse, relief filling my bones. My teeth were fucking vibrating from how hard this man could make me cum for him–the idea of him alone.

I was so fucked when I finally met him.

Both figuratively and literally.

We still hadn’t circled back on the topic of him taking it from me, but I didn’t even care. I would be a very happy bottom for him for the rest of my life if it meant having him for the rest of my life.

“Oh my god–I needed that,” Metal panted, hissing when something was too overstimulating for him again. “I have to–shit–go see my friend in a minute and–”

“Stop touching it, baby,” I chuckled, my head still a little floaty while I listened to him. “You know I love it, but neither of us has time to do that again. Come on–you were so good for me, but we both need to get cleaned up and dressed–”
