All thoughts of sleep vanished. My omega sprang up like a meerkat. Ty snorted, trailing the pad of his thumb over my freckles.
“You’re adorable.”
“Come on,” I huffed with an impatient growl, dragging Ty inside. “I need you to help me.”
“Yes, Omega.”
The sarcasm in his tone didn’t bother me. Once we reached my suite, I tiptoed into the attached nest space. Jason and Shane stopped in the middle of their conversation, their faces turning to me.
I perfumed, and they released a pair of pleased-sounding rumbles in response.
“Would you like us to leave so you can get to work?” Shane asked.
Suddenly, each breath stung and panic rose to the surface.
Omegas were supposed to make their nests on their own. I remembered reading that when I first presented. Right now, the idea of doing it without them felt off. I didn’t know why, but it did.
Did that make me damaged? I felt like a failure as an omega if I couldn’t make my nest without them.
My arms wrapped around my middle, a whine piercing the quiet. A figure moved in front of me. Jason kneeled, his hands brushing along the backs of my thighs.
“Tell me. What’s wrong, baby girl? What do you need? What does your omega need?”
“Help,” I whimpered, silent tears running down my cheeks.
“Help with what, love?” Shane added.
Their chests vibrated with low purrs. Ty ran a comforting hand along my spine.
“Does it make me bad? A bad omega if I want you all to help me with building the nest?”
“Never.”
“No, love.”
“What did I say about talking bad about our omega?”
Jason lifted me, hauling me into his chest. I wrapped my arms and legs around him, clinging to him like a baby koala. His purr intensified as the rest of my pack surrounded us.
“We would be honored to help you. I’m so proud of you, Mi.”
I leaned back, blinking at him through wet lashes.
“For what?”
“For asking for help. For leaning on us. For letting your daddy take care of you.”
“What a brilliant, perfect omega you are, love.”
Shane’s lips brushed against my exposed collarbone. I bucked into Jason’s stomach, and he growled. His now hard cock nudged between my legs. My instincts kicked in. My mischievous omega imagined running from our alphas, driving them to chase us until they caught us.
I didn’t think I was a brat like Ty, but my omega appeared to be.
Slowly, Jason lowered me onto the floor. Dark pupils swallowed his pretty blue eyes, leaving them black with a possessive intent. The veins in Jason’s hands pulsed, and it was indecent. He sucked in a breath, flecks of blue crystalizing in his irises.
“Now, be a good girl and put us to work,” he said, his voice strained.
Hours passed. Moonlight twinkled outside the window. My limbs ached, and I worried I’d smell nothing else besides paint fumes for days.
