“I-I just need a break, come on, Ody…” he managed, his voice weak now, drained.

“You’re the one who asked what I’d do if someone hit on you tonight,” Ody said, not easing up.

“I-it was a joke!” Mano’s eyes widened.

“A joke?” Ody’s tone dropped. “Well, I wasn’t joking when I said everyone would hear you.” He thrust hard.

Mano cried out, his eyes squeezing shut. Ody’s hand came up to Mano’s jaw, gripping it, forcing his face toward him. “Look at me.”

Mano’s body gave in under him, no resistance left this time. Rocking with each thrust, he stared straight into Ody’s eyes.

Like he belonged there.

Chapter 27

It was already nearing midnight by the time they started getting ready to meet the others.

“Are you okay?” Ody asked, pulling his clothes on.

Mano shot him a sharp look as he dragged his shirt over his head. “Stop asking.”

Ody stepped in, sliding his arms around his waist. “Answer me and I will.”

Mano scoffed, turning away. “So what? You care now? Didn’t seem like it earlier.”

“I was teaching you a lesson,” Ody said, a grin pulling at his mouth as he leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek.

Mano turned to leave, but Ody caught his arm and pulled him back. “Hey, come here.” He sat down on the bed, guiding Mano onto his lap. His arms settled around his waist. “Sorry if I hurt you.”

“Bit late for that,” Mano muttered, turning his head.

Ody tilted his. “Are your legs still shaky?”

“Shut up.” Mano glared at him.

Ody let out a quiet breath, amused. “You were being a brat, Mano. Don’t act like you weren’t asking for it.”

Mano stayed quiet, gaze fixed somewhere else.

“Tell me I’m wrong,” Ody murmured, turning his face back toward him.

Their eyes met. Then Mano pushed himself off him. “Move. They’re waiting.”

Ody stood, still grinning. “Yes, sir.”

By the time they reached the beach bar, music was already thumping through the crowd, bass heavy in the air. People were scattered along the shoreline, drinks in hand, bodies moving to the rhythm.

They grabbed drinks, clinked glasses, and took their first sips.

“Easy,” Ody said. “We’re not doing Serifos again.”

Mano smirked. “Scared you’ll be the one on all fours next time?”

“In your dreams, baby.”

“Dudes, if you see any hotties, call it out!” Elias shouted.

“I’m taken,” Steve said.
