“I know I was but I was not raped, Jett. I need you inside me, even if I don’t move. Even if nobody comes, I just need-”
I breathe the last word because it’s my absolute truth, “you.”

Chapter Sixty-Three
JETT
It took three weeks for Mia to mostly heal. Jagger, McKinley and I have wanted to get together for dinner but Mia refused until she healed enough to wear makeup. I argued but each time she won. My angel always wins.
I walk into the bedroom where she’s getting ready and stop in my tracks.
“Fuck, Angel. You’re a goddamn vision.”
She sits on the bed in a white silky looking dress with thin straps and a plunging neckline. On the bed beside her sits her new matching shoes with sparkly shit all over them.
I kneel in front of her with a smirk.
“Let me help.”
Lifting her foot, I press kisses to her heel and she squirms.
“Jett.”
Running my tongue up the sole of her foot she moves around more with a sweet little whimper.
I kiss her big toe and she blushes.
“We have to go, there’s no time for your kinky shit.”
Chuckling, I hold my hand out for the shoe and put it on her foot before giving her other foot the same treatment. I’ve learned recently that she’s into just about anything if it involves my tongue. She likes to pretend she doesn’t like me kissing her feet, but she does.
I bite her heel and she smacks my shoulder.
“You’ve wanted to do this and if you don’t stop we’re never going to make it to the restaurant.”
Rising to my feet, I pull her into my arms and drag her to her feet while she giggles. I grab her ass and pull her into my chest making sure she can feel how hard I am. Mia bites down on my bottom lip and releases me with a grin.
“Let’s go. This was your idea, we are going, behave yourself.”
“Fine,” I say, holding my hands in the air, “I’ll behave now if you promise to misbehave later.”
With a laugh she reaches behind her and grabs my hand excitedly.
“Let’s go!”
Within a few days after the attack she started seeing a therapist and while it's early in the process, I think it’s helping. She smiles more and at least appears to hate herself a little less. Mia is less critical of her body and while she tries to eat healthy she isn’t counting carbs anymore. Therapy isn’t a quick fix but I think it helps her to get everything out instead of keeping it locked inside.
We walk into the restaurant, and Jagger and McKinley are already seated in the private room. We always have to book an entire room if we want to do it without being hounded by fans. Neither Jagger or I mind signing a few autographs but once we have lines of people it becomes too much. Especially for our women.
“If you hadn’t been a horndog we would’ve beat them here.” Mia says while feigning annoyance.
“Horndog,” I repeat while shaking my head.
As we reach the table, I pull her chair out and she sits down while she smiles at her best friend. I take the seat beside her and nod to Jagger.
The waitress comes over quickly and hands us a wine list. Mia says quickly, “No wine. We’ll have water. All of us.”
