He couldn’t believe Bolt had thrown her away for a spin in Star’s pussy. It was crazy to him. Women like Star were everywhere, a dime a dozen, whereas women like Morwenna were rare gems. They were the kind of woman you kept and treated like a fucking queen, so they never realized they could do a million times better than you.

He appreciated Morwenna. She was everything. And Bolt had thrown all of that away on a piece of club pussy that had seen most of the cocks in the club.

The last of the brothers that weren’t in prison or missing made their way inside the meeting room, and Maverick was at the table. He didn’t look happy.

“That’s everyone here,” Maverick said. “We’ve got us a situation. Romano product is currently on hold, as the Feds have seized an entire shipment, currently trying to link the product to Romano.”

Venom saw the shock on everyone’s face.

“We can figure this is a beef with the Romano Mafia, however, this means it will leak into us, as we know we’ve already had multiple incidents of overdoses, and a fifteen-year- old girl has since died,” Maverick said. “Venom, do you have an update?”

“I intended to go to one of the warehouses today. I’ve got good information that could be the potential spot of where they’re making it,” Venom said. It was where he meant to go until he found himself dealing with a pervert.

“I thought you were supposed to be the best at this shit?” Bolt asked.

Venom turned his gaze to Bolt and knew this club brother was going to have an issue with him, and he didn’t even know he was currently fucking Morwenna. He didn’t answer.

“What? You’re just going to stand there and stare me down? I’m not one of your homies in prison.”

“You couldn’t handle prison, boy,” Venom said.

“What the fuck did you just say to me?” Bolt asked, throwing back his chair and getting to his feet.

The club looked from him to Bolt.

“He is the best,” Maverick said. “And he’s right, you wouldn’t last two minutes in prison.”

The anger on Bolt’s face was clear to see, but it didn’t change the fact it was the truth. Bolt couldn’t even handle his actions having consequences.

“Take Bolt with you,” Maverick said. “If your suspicions are correct, you’re going to need the cover.”

“I don’t need him,” Venom said. The last person he wanted to spend any time with was Bolt.

“Did I say it was a choice? Do it.”

Venom wasn’t happy.

“I want you all to be vigilant. Keep an eye on absolutely everything. Romano has warned us, they don’t know who is targeting them. They have a lot of enemies, and he has a feeling they will not be afraid to take us on. So, be on guard. If there is anything suspicious, report it, watch it, and we make no wrong move. Especially if the Feds are looking to make a quick bust. We don’t make it easy for them. Everything is above reproach.”

They didn’t have any product, or guns. So far, it was pretty light in the world of the Evil Dwellers MC. It was actually a fucking boring time.

Maverick slapped his hand on the table, bringing the meeting to a close. Venom made his way outside, and this is why he preferred to be standing, rather than sitting. He didn’t like to be kept waiting to get out of the fucking room. His time in prison had taught him it was best to avoid crowded places. It was in those places you got killed. Not that he thought the club would stab him in the back, but once you got into a habit, it was hard to break it.

He checked the time and saw it was a little after nine. Morwenna said she needed to head to the grocery store, and the blogs she’d been recently baking and cooking for needed to be written up. She had a busy workday, as well as bringing the cupcakes and leftover food to the clubhouse. He offered to bring it, but she’d declined and said she was more than happy to do it.

“Wait the fuck up,” Bolt said.

Venom didn’t slow down, and he growled when he saw his bike was parked right next to Bolt’s. He hadn’t even realized he’d parked next to it, but he had been thinking about Morwenna.

Thanksgiving was coming up, and it was getting cold, and he wanted to do something nice for her, but he didn’t know what to fucking do. He wasn’t used to caring what a woman wanted, or what she thought. Morwenna was different. He ran a hand down his face, as Bolt caught up as he was turning over the ignition.

“Where are we headed?” Bolt asked.

Venom ignored him. He was not into making small talk.

He and Morwenna hadn’t talked about how they were going to tell the club they were having sex. He didn’t want to put her on the spot, but he also didn’t want to go around hiding it either. He was not embarrassed about being with her. However, he knew it was a sticky situation because of Bolt.

Taking off out of the clubhouse, he got onto the open road, and even though he heard Bolt close behind him, he ignored that sound and just let the road take all his troubles away.
