Is she coming again?
Absolutely breathless and beyond reasoning, I was already sweating like I had been running a marathon. I was all wrapped up in the psychotic woman who triggered me like no one else ever had. So, when her nails cut down my back, pain shot through me as semen shot from my dick. I arched back and roared through the orgasm, lost for what her insanity did to me.
It took a few minutes of us gasping for air to compose ourselves.
Happily-spent grey eyes stared at me. “Where you been this whole time, Champ?”
I had to fight to keep my mouth shut. I wanted to tell her where I lived so she could find me and fuck me nightly. She had my “no relationship” rule in jeopardy.
With a smirk, she knowingly sighed. “I understand a man liking his privacy.”
Since I couldn’t tell her where to find me, I was back to square one—at the mercy of my sex-drive. Wanting another round before she slipped into the night, I surged my hips forward to see if she was game. Her legs tightened around my waist, drawing me deeper as she moaned, “The things I want to do to you.”
Recharged, I kissed and licked her sweet tasting neck. “Do them. Anything.”
She exposed her neck to me. “I can’t, Champ. Gotta get back inside—” As if remembering something, she jolted then grabbed my face. “But I seriously need to talk to you.”
Her little lips became my only concern as I forced my mouth on hers. With another erotic mewling sound, her tongue raced to mine, vibrating through her moan. I watched her watch me then asked, “Why do you keep your eyes open when we kiss?” My stomach tightened with hunger as I sunk impossibly deeper inside her.
Grunting through each of my thrusts, she replied, “Never felt safe enough to close my eyes and not see what’s coming.”
My hips slowed as my mind raced to why she said such a thing.
She rushed her next words. “I’m leaving town tomorrow. There’s an old hotel off of road 79. Meet me there tonight.”
“I…” This is such a bad idea. “Okay. When?”
“Couple hours.” She pushed against my chest. “Now put me down.”
Ain’t no one taking candy from this baby. “Fuck that.” I tightened my hold.
There was no escaping my thick arms. Not until I studied her eyes that were racing to the back door. “My dad will be looking for me soon.”
Ah shit. My mind cleared in record time. What the fuck am I doing? My mission became my focus again. Regrettably, I slipped out of her warm wetness and set her back on her feet. Closing my jeans, I explained, “I… I can’t meet you tonight.” Or ever.
Her voice was no longer breathy from the intense sex. Her eyes now screamed fear. “Please. I need to talk to you—” The back door swung open with a bang, causing her to jump. She quickly whispered, “Shit! Give me two bills.”
Dumfounded, I took an involuntary step back. “Pay you for sex?”
The president stepped outside, quickly assessing the situation with a ruthless grimace. I glared at him as I finished with my pants. Do I dare kill him in front of Ivy?
As if she wasn’t terrified a second ago, Ivy pulled down her shirt and stepped back into her pants with a casual response to my question. She spoke louder this time, as if for show. “That was a taste of what’s waiting for you tonight.” With a propped hip, she held out her open palm to me and waited.
Clueless to what had just happened, even feeling betrayed, I pulled out my wallet and handed her two hundred-dollar bills. She didn’t study the cash, only me. Her big eyes silently pled for me to understand her action. Which I didn’t. So, she asked, “Tonight a go?”
I inhaled, all instincts telling me to run the opposite direction. “Yeah, sure, babe.”
Ivy’s hips swayed as she walked away, headed toward her dad. My stomach turned as she handed him the money I’d just given her while saying, “I got a good-payin' John tonight,” then walked back inside the bar, loud music from the jukebox echoing throughout the empty alley.
Her dad—her motherfucking dad—folded the cash then slipped it into his front pocket, chin dipped me, then said, “Her full service will require another five.”
“You her pimp?”
“No. I own the cunt.”
Breathe, Bors. Breathe. Blanketed by the night, I stared at this man while slowly grabbing my hidden knife. I told myself I was only doing my job, Arthur’s assignment, but it was a lie. I was about to kill him for Ivy. I was going to be the poison that made a certain Ivy so dangerous.
That was until she suddenly reappeared. “Pops, buy me a beer.” She eyed my hand behind my back, a lace of fear present in her eyes, then she switched gears and attitude again and gawked at me with annoyance. “We got a problem?”
