Her legs opened as the side of her face sunk. Her slender fingers pulled her hair to the side, exposing a glorious shoulder. My tongue traced her spine, wanting to remember every indention, every feel of her skin. I kissed her shoulder as my hips found home. With no effort, my dick pushed inside that wet core. Ivy’s hips tilted slightly, and it felt perfect. Her arms tucked under the pillow as she settled deeper into her restful lay. Quietly, she told, “Yes, Bors. Just like that.”

Pushing off the mattress, I sunk inside her and slowly pulled out, over and over. My mouth hung open because it was so sensual my dick could feel everything this woman had to offer.

“Yes,” she whispered. “I’ve never felt anything like this.” I watched as tiny goosebumps broke out all over her perfect skin. “Don’t stop.”

I didn’t. As bad as my dick begged to come, it also begged me not to deny any demand she asked of me. So, so slowly it was deliciously painful, I surged and retreated, in and out of the woman I was falling in love with until she fell to sleep.

Arthur preferred his assassins on the move, but I was permitted a home due to never having one my whole childhood nor as a young adult. He said a man needs some sort of stability in his world, especially in this line of work. Maybe that’s why he sent me on the job to meet my daughter. Maybe, Boss Man knew the true stability I needed was family. He has a daughter who, much to his disapproval, fell in love with one of us: Lance Knight. Maybe the change he saw in Lance was one he hoped to see in me, too.

I went from living alone to living with three girls, ah shit, no joke. They were a constant handful. They loved my home but felt it needed some “sprucing up”. Whatever the fuck that meant, I asked if fifty grand would cover it.

It did.

Now, I had indoor plants, which made no sense since we lived in the woods. Just walk outside if you need some greens. I had lace curtains, which were also pointless since you could see through them. I had carpet I wasn’t allowed to wear shoes on. The fuck? I had a couch that, before I was even permitted to sit on, I had to take a shower. Fancy dishes that were to only be used for ‘special’ occasions. Teacups that I was not to use for coffee; I learned the hard way. Hand towels that were only for decoration, not as a grease towel when working on my El Camino. I thought Ivy was going to shove the damn dirty towel up my ass with how pissed she was. And, to top it all off, beers were to be kept in the garage refrigerator. Apparently, growing up with bikers made her want to be as girly as possible.

All this may sound awful, but I’d never been happier.

An abundance of toys always tripped me and stabbed my bare feet on the carpet, yet I couldn’t stop smiling. Ivy had taken over my, once upon a time, manly bedroom. There were fifty good-for-nothin’ décor pillows on our bed, but she fucked me so good, who the hell cared? As long as I didn’t get jiz on the fancy comforter, she was happy.

What I had been allowed to do is spoil Jade. The backyard was her personal playground. Beth said I went overboard, but I didn’t see the problem with an almost three-year-old having four jungle gyms, two slides, a sandbox, a kiddy pool, and a tree house big enough for a family of five. Jade saw no issue either. She played out there daily. It made mowing the backyard a complete pain in the ass, but every time that kid squealed with pure joy, I was ready to go buy her another swing set.

Beth tried some bullshit about thinking she should move out and let Ivy, Jade, and I have space. Ivy told me I had to work on my communications skills after I told Beth to stop being fucking stupid about stupid-ass-shit and that she wasn’t going anywhere. Beth called me a dick, but I saw her smile as she walked away.

Besides crazy ass women always trying to push my buttons, my life had become perfect in a sense. One I would do absolutely anything to protect. Maybe that’s why my heart seized when I got a text from one of my boys that the tide had turned, and Stain and Sting were finally coming for us. I guess they didn’t take kindly to me having Tristan blow up the entire bike compound. Unappreciative fuckers.

Bors

“Jade!” I sat up in bed as if struck by a jolt of lightning. One hand clutched at my chest—my panicked heart—the other searching the bed in the dark.

Ivy quickly sat up with me, trying to calm my alarmed breathing. “She’s okay. She’s right here. Look.” He hand guided mine to the itty-bitty girl between us. “You just had a nightmare, Bors.”

Inhaling relief, I lay back down, pulling the sleeping angel to my chest. She didn’t stir.

Ivy softly touched my forehead to wipe away sweat. “Can you tell me what these nightmares are about?”

I couldn’t. Then we would both be getting no rest. So, I told her another story that still haunted me. Clutching my kid to me, I sighed. “A few months ago, I killed a man. Babe, he raped a little girl only a little older than Jade.”

Her gasp sounded as horrified as I felt still trying to shake the gory memory. “Jesus, Bors.”

My eyes slid shut. “It—He killed her… So, I shoved his dick down his throat and fed him to the gators.”

She blew out a cautious breath then snuggled closer to the man who’d confessed to a crime. “I love you, Champ.”

I exhaled another sigh of relief. “There is a God.” You were right, Sister Mary.

Sitting on our back porch drinking coffee, Ivy and I watched Jade roll a ball around. When the sliding door opened with a slam, I knew I was in trouble with Beth, again. Whack! She smacked me upside the head. “How many times do I have to tell you to stop hiding knives around the house? If Jade finds one,” she slammed a sheathed knife—my kid lacked the strength to unsnap—on the porch table, “I’m shoving it up your ass.” Then she stormed back inside while grumbling, “You’re a goddamn knife hoarder.”

Over my shoulder, I teased, “Can I get some scrambled eggs?”

She huffed then slammed the sliding door shut.

Ivy and I busted out laughing. “Your paranoia is driving her mad.” She lifted her mug to take a sip. “You’re always expecting the unexpected.” I observed as her little eyebrows bunched together, her mind pondering. “In the hotel, you were letting me go.” I took a big sip of my steaming java, admitting to nothing. She studied me with grey eyes that had the early sun shining in them, showing me incredible details. “Or… were you not?” she said more to herself than me. After licking her teeth. “Champ, spill it.”

I set down my mug and leaned back in my chair. “There was a green Civic two doors down that I was going to hotwire and follow you in. As soon as you and Beth got yourselves in deep shit, I was going to murder assholes and re-kidnap the three of you.”
