“There’s Caitlin,” said Kellina, seeing her sister back by the castle with a bow in her hands. “And yer brathair and Leod are headin’ this way with fishin’ poles in their hands. Hurry, get inside.”
Once inside, they quickly closed the door.
“Well, we’re here,” said Nash, in a sultry voice. “Since there isna a bed, we can lay on my plaid if ye’d like.” He threw down his plaid and spread it out with his foot. She still clutched her clothes in front of her, feeling her body tremble.
“Mayhap we should wait,” she said, feeling apprehensive about this now.
“Nay. We’re married now, and we’ve agreed to consummate the marriage. I willna let ye back away again, Kellina. We’ve decided to do this.”
“Well, I think I’ve changed my mind.”
“It’s for the guid of both our clans. Now, stop bein’ so scared. It’s verra enjoyable, I assure ye, if only ye’d give it a chance.”
She started thinking about how enjoyable it had been last time, and wondered how it would feel if Nash entered her this time, instead of her having to use her own fingers.
“All right,” she finally agreed, feeling the rapid beating of her heart. “Tell me what to do.”
“Well, the first thing ye need to do is to let go of these clothes, sweetheart.” He gently pried her fingers open and the clothes she was holding fell to the ground at her feet. “That’s better. Now, just relax.”
“I canna,” she said. “I’m shiverin’. I think it’s from the swim in the cold water.”
“Then we need to do whatever we can to warm ye up.”
“Like what?” she asked, her teeth chattering together now, making a clicking sound.
“Let me take care of that. I’ve been kent to start a few fires in my time, I’m proud to say. Ye just sit right here, and I’ll show ye.” He helped her to sit atop the plaid.
“Nash, ye’re boastin’ again. It’s no’ becomin’ to talk about startin’ fires in other lassies when ye’re with yer wife.”
“Who’s talkin’ about other lassies?” She heard a scratching noise and then saw light. She turned to see that Nash had started a small fire in a metal brazier that was on the floor behind them.
“My mistake,” she said with a giggle. “But dinna burn the place down, Nash. After all, it’s been said that ye are guid at that, too.”
“Only in the Horn and Hoof Tavern, and I put out the fire before it burned the place down. Dinna worry, there is a smoke hole under the eaves. Besides, I’ll keep the fire small. Just enough to warm us, that’s all.”
“All right, then.”
He played with the fire, stacking a few dry sticks onto it that he found inside the shed. “There isna much kindlin’ so this fire willna last long.”
“How long will we need?” she asked, her teeth still chattering.
“However long it takes to make my wife happy.”
Kellina looked up at Nash staring down at her, and something inside made her feel very lucky to have him, just like her sister had said. He was handsome and kind, always thinking of others before himself. When he wasn’t boasting, that is. Still, she didn’t mind. Kellina liked a man who had confidence.
“I . . . see that ye’re ready now,” she said, her eyes fastening to his aroused form. It made her randy.
He knelt down behind her, leaning over, letting his hands slip up around her breasts. Her heart jumped and her shivering stopped as he fondled her and rolled her nipples. Her head fell back and her spine arched.
“I think I’m warmin’ up a little,” she told him.
“That’s what I like to hear.” Nash sat down and pulled her atop his lap, spreading her legs. Her womanhood pressed up against his erection. “Just relax. I’ll do all the work, lass. I want ye to experience elation, and see just how wonderful makin’ love can really be.”
Before she could say a word, he was suckling at her breast like a nursing baby. She liked the feeling. It excited her. Her hands slipped around his head and she pulled him closer, feeling vibrations starting up between her thighs.
“Can I touch ye?” she asked, her fingers slipping around his hardened form.
“I’m no’ stoppin’ ye,” he answered.
