“Fuck yes, baby!” Swallow it! Take it all!” Kalus roared.
The huge shaft throbbed violently against her tongue and his whole body went rigid in the chair, a raw, guttural growl echoing in the sterile lab.
And all Clair could do was swallow as fast as she could as he came and came and came…would he never stop? And why did swallowing his seed make her pussy feel so hot and wet? Clair didn’t know and didn’t want to know. She did her best to shove the thoughts away.
When the big Hybrid finally stilled, she pulled back, panting, her lips feeling bruised and used. But that didn’t matter—all that mattered was that she’d given him the cure. Had she given him enough, though? Had it worked?
Clair looked up hopefully, searching his face.
For a handful of heartbeats, Kaelus’s eyes were clear, blazing gold. Agony and worry warred in his expression.
“Clair… Gods, Clair, what have I made you do?”
“You didn’t make me do anything—I did it to you, not the other way around,” Clair insisted. “And look—you’re back to normal. Well, mostly,” she added, looking down at his shaft which was still obscenely erect and jutting up from between his muscular thighs.
“It did work,” Kaelus admitted. “But I can feel that it’s not enough. The fire is banked but it’s not out. Please, Clair—go before I break these restraints and hurt you!”
He was right, Clair realized. Even as he pleaded, the crimson began seeping back into his irises, obscuring the gold. The compound in her saliva, transmitted through his orgasm, had been a potent dose, but not a complete antidote. The virus was fighting back.
And he was right about something else—the restraints were failing. The metal around his right wrist was visibly distorted, stretched and twisted—he could break free at any second.
Terror threatened to freeze her. But then she remembered Maera’s calm, confident voice during one of their research sessions.
“You and I discovered the connection with the veloria but even before that, the women of Titus Four have known for generations, my dear. The way to a male’s heart, and to his sanity, is through his desire. We tame them with pleasure…we anchor them with our own bodies.”
This wasn’t just about transmitting a compound anymore. It was about taming the savage, Clair thought—anchoring Kaelus with her own body…her own pleasure.
She had to go all the way.
“Clair, please go!” Kaelus begged again. “I can feel my sanity fading!”
“No,” she said, her voice gaining strength. “I’m not going anywhere—I’m finishing this.”
With shaking hands, she reached under the simple green dress she wore and hooked her fingers into the waistband of her panties. She shoved them down her thighs and stepped out of them, kicking them aside. The cool air of the lab found its way under her flared skirt and kissed her bare skin—a stark contrast to the inferno building in the room.
Kaelus watched her, his crimson eyes devouring every movement and it was clear the viral lust had taken over again.
“Going to ride me, are you, little human?” he growled, a cruel smile touching his lips. “Think you can take all of me? I’ll fucking split you in two!”
He was right but Clair ignored him. She had to do this—she had to deliver a dose big enough to stop the virus. No matter how much it hurt, she had to save the man she loved.
But before she could climb on to the massive chair with him, the big Hybrid’s voice changed again and the red in his eyes flickered to show a fragment of his true self.
“Wait,” he rasped, the word strained. “Clair, please… if you’re determined to do this, let me… let me prepare you. My saliva… it has compounds. Elasticity enhancers. Lubricants. Without it… gods, I’ll tear you apart.”
“You want to taste me first?” Clair asked, frowning.
Desperately, he nodded.
“Just let me prepare you—please! I don’t want to hurt you, Lissa’ra!”
Clair bit her lip—should she do it? Letting him taste her would put certain, delicate areas near to his elongated fangs again. However, he hadn’t cut her with them when they were kissing. She hoped he would have restraint in tasting her too.
All right, so how to manage it?
She looked the big Hybrid over, her mind racing over the chair’s design. It was a medical restraint chair. There had to be a… there. Clair’s eyes widened when she saw it—a lever near the base. Using both hands, she grabbed it and pulled.
With a hydraulic hiss, the back of the chair reclined several degrees, putting Kaelus at a slight angle.
