It killed me walking out of Rose’s room and leaving her and Reid there without me, but I knew I wasn’t going to win that battle right now. So I decided to go to the waiting room where my Devil’s Chaos family is and let them know about my boy and let them see the pictures. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I pull it out finding Abby sent me another text. When I open it, my heart aches from what I see. Abby took pictures of the moments in the room where I was holding or trying to hold both Rose and Reid. We actually looked like a family and that fucking family is what I fucking want. I am a fighter and I know that I have the fight of my life coming, so I am going to get ready for it by taking care of everything else that is in the way.

Saving all the photos onto my phone and putting my favorite one as my background, I place it back in my pocket and continue my walk to the waiting room. When I get there my dad is the first to get up and walk over towards me.

“So you didn’t message us, do I have a grandson or a granddaughter?”

Mason doesn’t wait for me to answer before he comes barreling over towards us.

“Dad, I want to know if I have a brother or a sister. When can I see them? What do they look like? Are they okay?”

I chuckle at my boy and put my hand up in his hair.

“You’ve got a little brother. He’s beautiful and perfect. The perfect combination of his mama and me.”

I look at my dad and he has tears in his eyes.

“Do we get to see him?”

“I’ve got pictures. I think Rose wants some time with her family, her dad was there when I left. She told me she was tired so I didn’t want to push it.”

“Alright, well show us the little guy and what is his name?”

“Why don’t we just go back to the clubhouse and I can put everything up on a monitor so everyone can see all at once, Rage?” Wiz says from his seat.

“Yeah, we can do that. Hey, Mase, are you coming with me or are you leaving with Declan?”

“I’ll ride with you, I’m going to steal your phone while you drive. I totally want to see him first and think that is my right as a big brother.”

Everyone around us laughs as they begin clearing out of the waiting room. I do take notice that Liza and Dragon stay behind with Peyton, Whip, Fang and Parker.

“We are going to stay with her until she’s discharged. There is another waiting area that her family is in and her other friends from home. We will let you know if she needs anything.”

I nod my head and head out with my boy following close to my side.

“Give me your phone. I really want to see him.”

I hand over my phone to my bossy ten year old and let him look through the pictures.

“Wow, dad.”

“I know, buddy.”

And really I do, I know exactly what he is seeing when he looks at those pictures. That baby boy who has my dark brown hair that almost looks black, with big hazel eyes and long dark lashes that he got from his mama is going to help put our family back together. I know it. I believe that Mason knows it, now we just have to get Rose to know that we are a family. The four of us. I fucked up, but that woman is mine. She is everything I never thought I deserved and everything I know that I need.

“His mama is really pretty dad.”

“That she is buddy, that she is.”

“I mean it's a good thing she didn’t have a girl, I’d hate to have to beat up other people when I’m older. Like Declan is all worried about his sisters. I mean he’s got like three sisters and his mama is beautiful too. He’s going to have such a hard time keeping everyone in line. And he told me his dad has said he’s planning on my kids, they already have eight that is just crazy. Their house is chaotic already.”

I chuckle at that as we make it to my truck and I open the back for him to hop in.

“Well, Sophie is one of ten. I think Lash wants to beat that record.”

“Wow. I can’t even imagine.”

“Me either, kid.”
