Sweet Penelope continued murmuring, her eyes rolling back and forth behind her eyelids. Her long eyelashes were enough to drive me crazy, let alone how her taut nipples kept my mouth watering.

Soon, I would indulge in spending hours doing nothing more than exploring every inch of her body. Very soon.

My airwaves constricted again, the anguish of needing to orgasm driving the pressure to the intolerable point. But I refused to climax until she was ready.

She was close, her body almost spasming and with every slight, delicate smile, every time she opened her eyes if only briefly, I was offered a beautiful glimpse into her soul.

Which I would own soon enough along with her body.

I stroked even harder, my chest heaving as my balls filled with seed. And yes, I couldn’t wait until I erupted deep inside her throat.

Another growl rolled up from deep within and I gripped the arm of the chair with one hand, lifting my body off the seat. Straining. Controlling. Every muscle was tense, my legs almost to the point of cramping.

“Yes. Yes…” Her voice was louder, her breathing even more labored.

I squeezed my cockhead before jerking off quickly, panting as my pulse continued to rise.

She lifted her hips, gasping for air.

“Oh. Oh. Oh, yes. Yes…”

“Yes,” I gritted out. “Fuck. Fuck.”

As I finally orgasmed, so did she, her laughter capturing my attention, a smile crossing my face.

One huge fucking smile. And all from knowing exactly what I had planned for the beautiful Miss Penelope Michaels.

CHAPTER 11

Penelope

Create my own dark romance.

Words to live by or be terrified of.

Little had Brittney known her cute statement had forged a highly creative idea. I’d consulted with several authors, including Chantal Beauman, on if it was possible to create an alternative and very personal world for readers. We’d thrown around several ideas from authors writing stories specifically designed for one person, me creating designs that would allow for more of an experience than simply being absorbed in a generic world.

I was quite excited about the possibilities, although there would need to be much more thought put into the idea.

But my friends had also been right in that putting work aside for a little while wasn’t a bad idea. Maybe the weekend at one fabulous posh hotel in the heart of Louisville would do the trick. There was so much going on, the early autumn keeping warmth in the air with cool nights easily enjoyed by a fire.

Plus, there were several ongoing festivals, including a fair only a few blocks away from the hotel. From my fabulous room overlooking the city, I had a tiny snippet of a view of my favorite ride, the Ferris wheel, able to see the tippy-top portion over the line of trees and buildings. And cars. And people, and…

The wedding itself was simply stunning, the old world feel as if we were standing in Italy. At least three hundred guests were seated inside the church, the opulence carrying through to the number of white roses positioned seemingly everywhere.

As the two lovebirds read their vows, I’d allowed myself to wonder what it would be like to be the one so much in love I couldn’t imagine not spending the rest of my life with that person.

Something else occurred during their quiet revelation of shared love.

A sense of being watched.

Without warning, a strange tingle swept through my body, making me uncomfortable. It wasn’t from the longing I was experiencing in watching Brittany and Drake beginning their journey into the future, but something more insistent.

And eerie.

While the troll had been quieter as of late, that didn’t mean anything.

I’d felt something similar before. In fact, I’d sensed someone, as if my privacy had been invaded inside my home. Of course that had been impossible.
