“Fuck!” he hissed. “This is even better than last night… or this morning.”

Before she could agree with him, he took her lips and kissed her. She slung her arms around him, caressing his back, before sliding them down to his ass, and gripping him firmly to drive him deeper into her.

Dylan moaned into her mouth, her action clearly pleasing him. He increased his tempo and the intensity with which he took her. She’d always loved that about him, the wildness she could draw out of him, because it satisfied her craving for him, her thirst to be one with him. Her hunger for him grew with every thrust and every withdrawal. She spurred him on, encouraged him to plunge deeper and harder, to take her like he possessed her, like she was his. That knowledge filled her heart with warmth and her body with excitement.

Sounds of pleasure bounced off the walls of the room, and echoed in her ears. Every movement was smooth, their bodies glistened with perspiration, and their breaths comingled in a kiss that neither one wanted to sever. Time seemed to stand still, and only the two of them existed in this moment, a moment she never wanted to end. But there were laws of nature, of physics, that couldn’t be broken, no matter how much she wanted this moment to last.

Dylan’s cock was rock-hard and bigger than she’d ever felt him. She felt him change his angle by a small degree, and his thrusts instantly intensified, igniting her clit as if he’d lit a match to it. Her arousal catapulted her right to the edge of another climax. She hovered there for several seconds, while Dylan continued to slice in and out of her. He ripped his lips from hers, breathing raggedly now, deep moans tumbling over his lips, while the veins in his neck bulged as if the pressure was getting too much.

For a moment she feared that he was having another premonition, but then she suddenly felt his cock spasm and warmth flood her channel while he climaxed. Her own orgasm washed over her only a second later, and they both collapsed.

Zara was unable to move another limb. Dylan lay on top of her, partially supporting his weight with his elbows. She wrapped her arms tightly around him, not wanting him to leave.

“I love you, Dylan. I love you so much.”

She looked into his eyes and saw her own image reflected in his deep blue pools.

When he shifted, she gripped his ass. “Don’t!” She didn’t want him to slide out of her. She needed this connection, because it made her feel cherished and safe.

“I’m heavy,” he protested, though there was no conviction behind his words.

“I don’t care.” She’d always loved to feel his weight on her, and tonight was no exception. “I love feeling you inside me.”

He chuckled softly. It made him look much younger than he was. There was a sparkle in his eyes, something she’d missed all these years they’d been apart. With his index finger, he tapped on the tip of her nose.

“You keep imprisoning me like that,” he murmured, his voice raspy and full of emotion, “and we’ll never get out of this room.”

“Do you want to leave this room?” she challenged.

“No. But eventually we may have to.” He shifted his hips, driving his cock a little deeper into her again. He smiled and brushed his thumb over her lips. “This felt so good. Even better than I remember it. And trust me, I remember sleeping with you as being amazing.”

Zara cupped his cheek, and he turned his head to press a kiss into her palm. “We always fit together perfectly. That hasn’t changed, has it?”

He moved his head from side to side. “That will never change.”

“But you and I, we’ve changed,” she said, meeting his gaze. There was a seriousness in his eyes now.

“Being on the run changed me. But I think I’m stronger now. Strong enough to take on my enemies.” He motioned to the door. “With the help of some friends.”

“Have you known them long?”

“I met Ace yesterday at the café for the first time, and the others this morning.”

She furrowed her forehead. “But didn’t you say you were all in the same program at the CIA?”

“Yes, but we never worked together. Our director, Henry Sheppard, believed it was safer for all of us to not know each other. He felt that it may be dangerous for men with our skills to combine our powers and be tempted to use it for evil.”

“Do you believe that?”

“Not anymore. I think we’re stronger together. We’ll be able to combine our individual strengths and our premonitions to find a way to bring our enemies down and prevent a catastrophe from happening.”

“A bombing in D.C.?”

He shrugged. “That’s not all, I think. Yes, there’ll be a bombing, possibly more than one, but we don’t know yet to what end. We’re not sure who or what he wants to destroy.”

She remembered the code name he’d used when he told her about the suspect. “Polo? The ex-Stargate agent?”

“He’s our best lead.”
