Heat rushed to my cheeks as I pictured Leopold’s naked body and long, thick erection, then heat rushed to my core when I remembered that he had invited me to join Geraldine.
The boys cast Ashley a dismissive glance, then Leopold turned to Prakash, who shrugged. Perhaps he had forgotten her already.
“Ashley, stop that,” I hissed. How many dismissals from Leopold did she need before she understood that he wasn’t interested?
Leopold and Prakash sauntered to Geraldine and Bianca’s table, and two girls from a neighboring table left their full breakfast plates, rushed up to them, and exchanged a few words. After a moment of conversation, the girls hurried to the serving area of the restaurant, where I assumed they would pick up breakfast for the boys.
Ashley pulled back her chair and rose off her seat.
I grabbed her arm. “What are you doing?”
“Leo asked me out. I’m going to tell him he owes me another date.”
“What about Bruce?”
Her features creased into a frown. “What about him?”
Still clamping my hand around my sister’s arm, I blew out a frustrated breath. “This morning, you were offended when I referred to him as that guy. Doesn’t that imply you like him?”
The confused frown morphed into a hard stare, and her lips curled down with disdain. “And how would you know anything about relationships?”
Her words might have stung more if it wasn’t for the beautiful stranger I had met at the party. I released her arm and twisted back in my seat, ignoring Cormac and Michelle’s curious gazes. “Maybe if you hadn’t stepped between Jerome and me—”
“Will you drop it?” she hissed. “That was a long time ago. Besides, he told me he was only talking to you to get to me.”
Anger flared across my cheeks, blackening the edges of my vision. She had never told me this before. Knowing my twin, it was probably something she’d just made up to win an argument. I shot out of my seat and snarled, “What did you—”
Cheers broke out across the dining room, drowning out the rest of my sentence. I turned around to see who had entered.
Mr. Seductive from last night strolled in, looking as handsome as the devil and dressed in our school uniform. And he was staring straight at me.
Moments later, the cheers died down. The rest of the dining room turned to the direction of his gaze—our table. Chatter filled the room. Maybe guys like him didn’t look at scholars.
Still with the brace around his leg, he crossed the room in a few heartbeats. “Willow,” he said my name as soft as our first kiss. “You didn’t tell me you’d joined Brittas Academy.”
“You didn’t tell me you studied here.”
His face broke out into a grin that melted my panties. “I was a bit preoccupied.”
My throat dried. “Right.”
“Allow me to introduce myself.” He gave me a gallant bow. “Sebastian Garraway, at your service.”
“Willow Evergreen.”
The corner of his lips curled into a smile. “I tried looking you up last night on Facebook, but none of the girls there were you.”
Warmth filled my heart. I had never imagined he would even remember my name. Before I could reply, Ashley insinuated herself at my side and murmured, “And I’m Ashley, her twin.”
He quirked his lips into a dismissive smile but kept his eyes on me. “I was planning on posting a DVD through your letterbox.”
My cheeks warmed. The only movie we talked about was Grease. I tapped the side of my head. “It’s all in here.”
“You’re even more perfect than I imagined.”
“How do you two know each other?” asked Ashley.
Sebastian groaned. “This is just like the scene where Danny and Sandy meet for the first time after their summer.”
