“Would you like to say rule number two? Because we both know that rule would mean paving your grave.” I pushed her away from me like the trash she was. There was no need to look her way, I could hear her gasping and coughing. The sound of her expensive heels could be heard running away. Good, fucking hoe.

Adjusting my tie and readjusting my dick inside of these tight-ass trousers, I picked my feet up and made my way to the double doors. I hated wearing suits and dress clothes. My father wouldn’t have it any other way. I respected his way whenever I was in his space.

Big B, stepped up to the huge double doors. Looking my way for the okay to proceed, I could tell his big burly ass felt congested in the suit he had to wear today. Pushing the door open, I stepped in, and silence immediately swept over the room. I could smell the fear, it was the wrong move to make. Fear seemed to feed me rage. My eyes swept the room from left to right. I met eyes with a lot of unsure, pussy muthafuckas. They told on themselves with pitiful looks covered all over their faces.

I forced a fake genuine smile and opened my arms like I was here to accept and reward these fuck niggas.

“Gentlemen, please don’t stop all the chattering and laughing on my account.” I snapped my fingers, with my hand out. Big B smiled and handed me my flamethrower cannon. It weighed about twenty pounds; it wasn’t as big as the ones that I used back home. This one would get the job done. Placing it on my shoulder, I started to pace the forty-five hundred square foot meeting room.

I estimated twenty-five men, maybe ten would live to see another fucking day. Clicking my tongue, I started picking brains.

“Inferno?” A short chubby greasy, muthafucka had the nerve to speak my name like he was infatuated. Looking at Killa and nodding my head, he pulled his gun from his dress pants and blew his head off. His brains splattered onto the man that sat next to him. The gentleman that occupied his seat started to sob and shake.

“Mi, hermano(brother)!” I clicked my tongue and Killa shot him too.

“Anybody else ready to speak out of turn?” Silence. I picked up my feet and kept walking.

“See the silence, I can accept because that tells me… that you, tamale-eating muthafuckas is thinking about the hit that was placed on the Don. If you muthafuckas were smart, you would do your very best to protect the head of this organization. You all failed. Now, who knows? A sick evil half-breed nigga like me might take over. Ju know, no me detendre’ (I won’t stop).” I stopped right behind Jose, my father’s henchman that looked like he was shaking in anger.

“Jose? Do you have something to say?” I placed my free hand on his shoulder, I could feel the steam coming off of him. I wanted to laugh but I was trying to respect my so-called elder. Getting close to his ear, I spoke lowly. “You and I will have a talk outside of this room. You may leave.” I stood up straight and watched him stand and walk out.

Right now, I wasn’t thinking too clearly, pain resonated in my chest. The sight of my father crushed me. I have never been crushed; this was a first for me. I was used to seeing my father standing strong and unfazed. Jose sitting perfectly without a scratch nowhere in sight had me ready to torch his fucking face to my satisfaction. My father wouldn’t like that, so I gave him a pass for now.

I eyed the all-gold throne-like seat, it resonated at the head of the one-hundred-inch table. Something was going on, I needed to get my temper under control to be able to see clearer. I could smell a rat and all I needed was some rich strong cheese to spot them out.

“My father was shot three times. You all sit in his home, laughing and talking when his wounds haven’t even stopped leaking blood.” I thundered out.

Killa and Big B walked towards the throne and stood on each side as Big B pulled the heavy golden chair out for me to take a seat. They knew that the only way for me to level out and think level-headed was for me to take a seat. What they didn’t understand is if I sat in that chair, it would mean to these men, that I was stepping into my father’s shoes.

“Somebody better start talking… make sure when you speak, that it’s of something very important.” I gripped the handle of my flamethrower and started to eye every man that sat around the table.

“We only answer to di Don.” I pointed my flamethrower in the no-name man’s direction and pressed my finger underneath the clutch.

“No answer to me?” I raised my thick brows and smirked. His Adam’s apple moved up and down. “You’re scared but not that scared to test me. Hmmm… that’s interesting. Big B, do me the honors.” Everyone watched with wide eyes. Big B pulled a clear bottle that looked like water, out of his suit jacket. He marched around the table until he was standing directly behind no name. Taking the top of the lighter fluid and grabbing a handful of the man’s curly hair, he tilted his head back, then started pouring the fluid all over his face. The remainder of fluid was dosed over his hair. Visibly trembling and squeezing his eyes shut from them burning. The panic all over his face was noted.

“Seems like to me, you all need structure. I’m never the one to knock what my old man has established within his cartel. However, you all need an example of what the results are for not taking great care of your Don.”

I squeezed the trigger; the gas, I smelled first. Soon as the fire ignited, my eyes lit up. The flame immediately picked up on the fluid and started melting his face like a candle. The pungent smell had everyone but me, using their shirts as a mask. This shit never got old to me; I loved playing with fire since a youngin’. It’s how I got my name Inferno. The older I got the more obsessed I became with flames.

By now everybody was up on their feet moving far from the table. The smell of burnt hair annoyed me but the sight of him lying limp on the table with fire blazing off his body had me anxious to pick another pussy nigga, for the same treatment.

“One of you niggas, fetch a fire extinguisher. Clean this shit up.” I handed Big B my flamethrower and took a seat on the chaise that was close to the floor-to-ceiling window. Pulling the blunt from behind my ear, I used my lighter torch to spark it. The crackling and popping, sounded like music to my ears.

“It’s getting hot in hurr.” I nodded my head, singing.

“So hot!” Big B’s raspy voice recited the adlibs to the song as he maintained a nonchalant look on his face.

“So, take off all ya clothes,” I mumbled and inhaled my blunt.

“Y’all niggas is sick.” Killa shook his head and pulled his own blunt out.

“Fuck y’all looking at?” I frowned and chuckled when all eyes snapped away from mine. Someone was going answer to my father’s failed assassin.

“Excuse me, Mr. Ruiz, your father is awoke, and would like to speak with you now.” Saved by the bell, I nodded my head and watched a man walk in with a fire extinguisher. I stood to my feet and nodded to my two men to follow behind me.

“We smell like smoke.” Killa’s pretty boy ass complained as I handed my blunt off to Big B. Ignoring Killa, I picked up my feet and made my way down the hallway to get to my father. When I first arrived here, nurses were tending to him. I couldn’t stand the sight of him like that, it almost broke me down to my knees. I couldn’t even find my voice to ask where he had been shot, I just knew it was three times.

I took the steps three at a time, one thing about Mexico is, it had beautiful mansions overlooking the ocean. My father’s estate sat up high giving you the best view of Mexico. Coming back brought back memories of my childhood. My father showered all of his kids with love, he always knew that out of all his kids that I would follow right behind him. I knew at a young age how powerful my father was. I saw it every day and every time we left the house. Grown men would bow their heads whenever he appeared. Most was too scared to look him in the eyes. I attended all of my father’s weddings and thought it was normal. None of his wives except my mother got the courtesy of living here in this house.
