Jory grinned to himself.Someone was in a feisty mood. He stopped at the door entrance andleaned against it, enjoying the sound of Damian in a hissy fitbefore he stood suddenly from behind the machine, and his startledgaze caught Jory’s own. Damian was red-faced, his dark red hairtousled, his glasses halfway down his nose. There was a sheen ofsweat on his pale cheeks, and his eyes were brilliantly green undertheir dishevelled fringe. He looked good enough to eat, and Jory’sskin prickled with longing.
He’s sofucking adorable.
Damian blinked owlishlyand shoved his glasses up his nose. “It’s you. What are you doinghere?”
Jory detached himselffrom the doorjamb and ambled through the confined space to standcloser to his cutie. “I was in the area. Thought I’d pop in and seewhat you were up to.” He smirked. “Seems you have your job cut outfor you with the little metal bitch. Tell me, did you get itsorted?”
Damian huffed and ran ahand through his untidy hair. “Huh. I taught her a lesson, forsure.” His wide, easy smile struck Jory in the face like asunburst. He patted the machine fondly. “She’s been rathertemperamental lately, and Dibbs—Uncle Dave— loves this cantankerousthirty-five-millimetre projector like a daughter, so I figured I’dbetter get her sorted.” He picked up a thermos and chugged from it,then proffered the flask to Jory.
He took it, thinking itwas coffee, drank a gulp, then choked on the foul taste, and spatthe mouthful out all over the floor.
“Jesus Christ. What the hell is this? Tastes like cat pee.”
Damian laughed, his facealight with mirth. “Bovril tea, we call it. Spoonfuls of Bovril andhot water makes a tasty brew. You don’t like it then?” His sly, sexy grin took Jory’s mind off the awful residue in his mouth, butonly a little. He’d never tasted anything so damned awful in allhis life.
“I think theanswer to that is on your floor. Have you got a rag or something Ican clean up the mess with?”
Damian handed him agrimy, grease-speckled rag and Jory crouched down and cleaned thewet patch on the floor. When he stood, Damian was eyeing him inspeculation.
“So what’s thereal reason you came up here? I don’t believe it was only to seeme.”
Jory tossed the rag ontothe top of a workbench and sidled closer to his prey, who blinkeduncertainly. “It certainly was,” Jory drawled as he completelyinvaded Damian’s personal space. “I wanted to ask you to go on adate with me.”
“A date?”Damian squeaked, blushing a delightful rose-red shade once again.“Honestly? You want me to go on a date with you?”
Jory shrugged. “Sure. Whynot you?”
Damian regarded himdoubtfully. “You’re a rock star. You could have anyone you wanted. Why me?” He swallowed as Jory moved closer, only a few centimetresseparating their faces.
“Because Ifancy you, and I’ve been dying to kiss those lips of yours,” Jorymurmured, enjoying the fleeting moment of apprehension on Damian’sface. “I think I might do that…right…now.”
Hope I don’tget my face slapped. Won’t be the first time.
He took the initiativeand cupped Damian’s face in his hands, then pressed his lips tohis, coaxing them open with a flick of his tongue and the heatedpressure of his lips. Damian gave a little sigh, which turnedJory’s dick into a rod of want. He groaned and got bolder, slidinghis tongue into the hot depths of Damian’s mouth, and claiming hislips fiercely, loving the way Damian melted into him and gave himback as good as he got.
Jory reached out andgripped Damian’s bum, pulling him closer, gasping at the answeringhardness against his.
A noise on the stepscaused them both to panic and they drew swiftly apart, breathinghard. Damian pushed past him and peered down the stairs. He turnedto Jory with a sheepish smile.
“No one there.Must have been a cat or something. This place is full of feralones.” His lips were swollen and pink and Jory wanted to taste themagain. “So, that happened. Does this mean I have to go on a datewith you now?” he teased, his voice husky.
Jory adjusted himself andgrinned. Bull’s-eye. He was in. “I kinda think we got it a bit arseabout face, but I’ve never been one for the social niceties.” Hereached out and drew a thumb over Damian’s bottom lip. “If it meansI get to do more kissing with you after dinner, and perhaps more, Isay hell yes.”
Damian snorted, his eyesglinting with amusement. “Steady on there. Maybe I don’t put outafter the first date?”
Jory shook his headslowly as he crowded Damian into a corner, running a hand up hismuscled chest, and lingering on the pulse at the base of histhroat. A pulse now beating stronger.
“Baby, afteryou’ve had dinner with me, I’m betting you won’t be able toresist.” His fingers trailed over Damian’s cheek. “I can bepretty…persuasive.”
Damian gulped, his pupilswidening. “Well, time will tell,” he stuttered. “You’re very sureof yourself.” His pink tongue came out and licked his top lip andJory wanted the pair of those lips around his achingcock.
Coolit, he admonished himself. Don’t scare thepoor guy away.
He pulled away and cockedan eyebrow at Damian. “Shall we say Friday night at eight pm atCalvin’s Bistro? You know where it is, on Back TurnerStreet?”
It was another favouriteof Jory’s, where a patron’s privacy was important to themanagement.
Damian nodded, hisfingers going to his lips and trailing across them.
