“That won’t be easy,” Griffin said. “If we’re reading this right, and he’s really auctioning women off, his guest list will be highly restricted.”

“But we might get lucky,” Slate said, his tone lighter.

Griffin shot his brother a quick look. Then his green eyes were ice again.

“If we get that invitation … who gets to go in?” Ash asked. And he fucking wanted to be the one going inside, though he knew the chances of him passing himself off as a billionaire were slim. He was too rough, too scarred, too obviously blue-collar.

“Before we decide that,” Rogue said. “There’s one more thing. There was a second note after this one. The auction may be the main event, but this year’s theme comes with some extra entertainment. Singing, dancing … and a fight.”

Ash’s ears perked up at that.

“A fight?”

Rogue nodded. “A fight … to the death. For one million dollars.”

“Jesus,” Slate said. “A lot of people would be willing to kill for a million dollars.”

It would take a desperate man, but the world is full of desperate men.

And though Ash wasn’t a strategist, sometimes he could see the pieces on the board. Like now.

“One of us could get in like that.”

“Coincidentally, several well-known fighters landed in Istanbul over the last few days,” Rogue continued. The screen shifted to show still images from airport security feeds.

“I’m not even going to ask how you got those,” Griffin said, shaking his head.

In one of the images, a man who looked about seven feet tall walked out of the airport with a large black bag slung over one shoulder. In the next image, a slim man waited for his bags at the baggage carousel for a flight from Japan. Then another one, where two identical men with long blond hair men waited for a car.

Twins?

“They certainly don’t look like tourists,” Slate said.

“Can you get me in, Rogue?” Ash asked.

“Slow down, Ash,” Dark said. “You were injured last month. Maybe you need to let one of us—”

“I may not be able to pass off as a billionaire, but a fighter … that I can do, and I’ll have a better chance of surviving than any of you,” Ash said confidently, flexing the thick muscles of his arms.

Rogue nodded. “It’s a good idea. Fighters will not have as much access to the grounds as guests, but it’ll be much easier to get one of us on that list.” He looked at Dark. “What do you say, boss?”

“I say, don’t call me that,” Dark said. He looked like was about to say something else, but just then the pilot announced they were ready to land.
