I stormed over to where they had my uncle cowering on his fucking fancy carpet that he told us God wanted him to have, because he was one of his precious chosen ministers.

“How old is he? Jesus fuck, uncle!”

“Blasphemy! What did I tell you about cursing and disrespecting your faith!?”

Ash kicked my uncle’s legs apart, and stepped up close to his junk, giving it a little tap with his boot.

“Answer the fucking question, or I’m gonna grind your pathetic junk into the shitty carpet.”

“Make him scream high enough to shatter the windows, man.”

Ash glared at Ethan. “Can you just try to be normal for five fucking seconds?”

“Ugh… be a normie again? Fuck that. Seriously, Blaze, just gimme the knife for a minute.”

Blaze groaned and shook his head, but then he opened his hand, and left the knife resting on his palm.

“You break it, you buy it.”

“Gonna break him, not your knife.”

Ash shot an arm forward to catch Ethan’s wrist before he could lower the knife to my uncle.

“It’s not your kill, remember? This is for Cal. He needs retribution from this cunt, because he caused all of this.”

“Retribution will come for all of you! I am one of God’s holy children, and I do His work to rid the world of sinners!”

Ash nudged his foot forward, and my uncle yelped with pain. It helped, to see him afraid, and cowering like this, even though he kept trying to front, by spouting his usual hateful bullshit. As I kid I’d been far too afraid to challenge his words, and declarations, because I was being held here at his whim.

“You let her rape me,” I hissed, checking on the kid again before I approached them, “you were a monster back then and I think you’re even worse now!”

“Can I kill her, if I can’t kill this one?”

“Ethan, shut it!”

Chapter Thirty

Ash

Ethan was a fucking liability, so we told Blaze to keep him away from the uncle while Cal did what he needed to. Seeing the kid had really fired up his anger against his uncle. The poor kid looked about twelve, if that, and the idea of him being forced by that bitch was too much to take.

“He made me,” she hissed for about the twentieth time, so I nodded at Blaze, and he and Ethan went over to deal with her.

“How many times has he ‘made you’?” Blaze demanded, but we tuned them out and put our focus back on uncle cunt.

“Are you sorry for what you do to these poor kids?” Cal asked him, his fists clenching in front of him as he stepped closer to the bastard who facilitated his rape.

“They need help. They’re confused. They’re being led down a path of satanism, and they need to be saved.”

Dammit, I knew I should have dressed like the devil for this. It would have been perfect. Talk about a missed opportunity.

“You’re a fucking demon, you know. Talking like you’re the fucking golden boy for your god, but you treat people like this? You need to be put down, and hey, lucky you… that’s why we’re here.”

Cal groaned, shoving my shoulder, probably to shut me up, since I wasn’t doing anything except mouthing off at him.

“How many times have you done this to kids like him? It was bad enough for me, but he’s a fucking child, you sick monster!”

The kid suddenly screamed, and tried to scramble off the bed, awake again at least for the moment, but I couldn’t make it over there before Cal ran back to his side, speaking softly to him, trying to coax him into calming down and not freaking out. He kept telling him we’d keep him safe, and I had no idea how he thought we’d do that, but for now, this fucker was trying to sneak away, and an exhilarated yell from Ethan had me spinning to see what he and Blaze were up to. There was so much fucking blood. I actually gagged at the sight of it, because Ethan was covered in it, while Blaze was just laughing.
