“That’s my girl. That’s it. So fucking beautiful when you come for me. Look at you—”
I can’t look at anything. My eyes are screwed shut and my whole body is trembling and all I can do is hold onto him while the aftershocks keep rolling through me.
Ryan doesn’t stop until I tug weakly at his hair. Only then does he press one last soft kiss to my clit and start kissing his way back up my body—over my stomach, between my breasts, up my throat—until he’s braced over me again, mouth wet and eyes dark.
He kisses me deep, letting me taste myself on his tongue, and I make a soft, needy sound into his mouth.
“Still with me?” he asks, voice low.
I nod, breathless. “Yeah.”
“Good.” He brushes hair off my face with the hand that isn’t holding his weight. “Because I’m nowhere near done with you.”
Ryan reaches between us and shoves his pants and boxers down just far enough. I feel him hot and hard against my thigh as he kicks them the rest of the way off, never taking his eyes off my face.
He settles back between my legs, bracing his weight on one forearm so he doesn’t press on my stomach. The head of him nudges against me—slick from my orgasm, already wet for him—and he goes completely still.
“Look at me,” he says quietly. “You okay?” His voice is rough, but the question is careful. “This is the first time since… you know. I need to know you’re still with me.”
My hands slide up his back, feeling the tension in his shoulders. “I’m with you. I want this. I want you.”
Something in his expression cracks open. He nods once, then starts to push in.
Slow. So fucking slow. Inch by inch, watching my face the entire time like he’s memorizing every flicker of sensation. The stretch is familiar and brand new at the same time—my body already softer, already different, taking him deeper than it used to. When he’s fully seated he stops, forehead dropping to mine, both of us breathing hard.
“Jesus Christ, Ally.” His voice is wrecked. “You feel—fuck. You feel incredible.”
I wrap my legs around his hips and hold him there, just feeling the full, heavy heat of him inside me. “Ryan—”
“I know.” He kisses me, soft and deep. “I’ve got you. I’m not moving yet. Just… let me feel you for a second.”
He stays buried to the hilt, one hand coming down to rest protectively over the small curve of my stomach between us. His thumb strokes once, gentle.
“I love you,” he breathes against my mouth. “I love you so much it doesn’t even make sense sometimes. You’re it for me. You’ve been it for me since that summer on the dock. Since the first time you laughed at something I said like you actually meant it.”
My throat tightens. “Ryan—”
“Let me finish.” He rolls his hips once—slow, deep, testing—and a soft sound slips out of me. “You’re the bravest person I’ve ever met. The smartest. The kindest. You’re carrying our baby and still walking into that school every day like nothing’s wrong, and I don’t know how you do it. I don’t know how I got this lucky.”
He starts moving properly then. Slow, easy thrusts that never get rushed. Every time he bottoms out he stays there for a second, grinding against me just enough to make my breath catch, before pulling back and doing it again.
“You’re so tight like this,” he murmurs. “So warm. So perfect around me. Do you have any idea what it does to me knowing this is ours? That nobody else gets to see you like this? Nobody else gets to feel you like this?”
I dig my fingers into his shoulders and meet his next thrust. “Only you.”
“Only me.” The words come out almost fierce. “You’re mine, Ally. This body. This heart. This baby. All of it. And I’m yours. Completely. There’s no version of my life that doesn’t have you in it.”
He kisses me again—messy, open-mouthed—while he keeps that same unhurried rhythm, deep and steady. One of his hands finds mine and laces our fingers together against the pillow. The other stays braced so his weight never lands fully on me.
“Tell me how it feels,” he says against my lips. “I want to hear you.”
I swallow. My voice comes out softer than I expect. “It feels… different. Fuller. Like you’re everywhere.” I tighten my legs around him. “I love it. I love feeling you like this. I love that it’s us.”
His forehead drops to my shoulder for a second and he makes a low, broken sound. “Fuck. You’re going to ruin me saying things like that.”
“Good.”
He huffs a quiet laugh against my neck, then lifts his head and looks at me like I’m the only real thing in the world. “I’m never letting you go. You know that, right? Not after this. Not ever. You’re stuck with me.”
